3 Easy Fit Buttons for Jeans with Metal Button

These work great- except for one thing; the colors of the cloth don't really match any jeans you actually have. Unlike other reviews I didn't have trouble with the zipper going all the way up- but you still might want to wear a belt or long shirt with this if only because the color of the extension doesn't exactly match the jeans- and I don't know why they mention metal buttons in the description- as in 'for jeans with metal buttons'. These extension have plastic buttons themselves- not metal. They do seem to work but being plastic who knows how long they'll hold up. Another good thing about them is it doesn't take much dexterity to put them on your jeans- just put on your pants then put the edges of your thumbs on each edge of the hole of the extension and slip it down onto the button of your existing jeans. Unlike some reviewers I found this takes not much dexterity or strength at all. These are a great stop gap measure if you're in between sizes and don't have ready access to a tailor.

So glad I bought these! I had a baby and am back down to my pre-pregnancy weight, but some of my favorite jeans just don't fit as well as they used to. This little contraption gives just enough room to make them comfy again. I've tried them on several different brands of jeans and only had difficulty with one button being way too big to fit in the pre cut hole. After some work I was able to get it through.Only drawback is I only use this when I am wearing a shirt long enough to cover my waistline. It is noticeable even if the color is matched fairly well.

This is an awesome product and I couldn't be happier! I was using the solid button (loop) type of extender before finding these. While the other type worked, they only offered 1" of additional room where these state they offer 2". I believe it's more than 2" but that just may be me. The real plus with these fabric extenders is that they're 1: pliable (so they won't bite into you). 2: offer 3 color hues (so you can match any pair of jeans you have). 3: offer two button colors (so whether your button is silver or bronze, this extender has you covered). and 4: it's made with quality material (so it's going to last a long time).I absolutely love this product and can't recommend it highly enough.

These waistband extenders do a great job and come in three colors to match or blend with all of my jeans and slacks. I travel quite a lot and some days of sitting for too long causes some swelling--particularly in my waist, I keep at least one of these extenders in my bag with me so I don't have to totally unzip my pants or skirt to be comfortable. The extender adds quite enough space to my waistband to be a major difference in comfort and eliminates the dreaded "muffin top" that seems to occur later in the day.....I love them! ~~(the two I have left, anyway----a friend snitched one of them at a conference so she could get through the rest of the night---I'll never see it again...)

These work very well, although the button holes are a little small. I cut mine into one large button hole, which works for me. Don't know whether it will work for others. They definitely don't fall off. You must remember, however, that the zipper still closes at the position of the original button. Some zippers adapt well, but others will not hold as well and will only zip halfway up. So if you are a woman and you have this problem, you can really only wear these with long shirts that cover the zipper.

Got these as a pre-maternity pants solution. I had to cut the buttonhole a little bigger to get it to fit my Maurices brand jeans, not a big deal.This next part was my fault, but I didn't think about how this only extends the waistband. To zip up my pants, I still have to pull the waistband as tight as it would normally be to be buttoned with the normal button. I feel like when I release the waistband and button with the extender, the zipper is under a LOT of stress - so far, it's held up, but I'm not sure how long it will last. It's just a temporary solution for me, until I'm pregnant enough to need maternity pants, so I think it was worth the money I spent.

Simple design and well constructed, these extenders are perfect for those who conceal carry and need a bit more room to do so. Much cheaper then buying new pants. Buttons are metal just like my original jeans and come in 2 shades, two dark and one medium. Not sure why it doesn't come in three shades but oh well, I wear a belt that covers them anyway. Maybe a little overpriced but in the long run can save a lot of money.

I purchased these to allow me some "leeway" for the holidays. They do just that, extending the waist on your jeans to a comfortable 1 1/2 to 2 ". Why only 4 stars? The product is pretty stiff out of the box and took some wrestling with to get my jeans to hook into the product. bottom line, it works.
