Great option to making any set of speakers bluetooth capable
I connected this to a set of computer speakers to use in our bedroom. It's works great. We always have it plugged in, so I cannot comment on battery life issues, but it sounds very good, has great options, and has less connection issues than other bluetooth receivers I have tried.Unless you are using really high caliber speakers, and listening very critically, you will be hard pressed to tell if this was a bluetooth connection or wired connection.A different bluetooth receiver I have makes you hold down the button to establish a connection after there has been no connection for a while. However, this one will stay ready to accept a connection at all times. Meaning, if I lose connection (on purpose or by accident), the receiver will automatically be ready to accept a new one, with no need to hold the button to link it again. If one person is playing through it, and another tries to connect, it will kick off whomever is currently using it and connect to the new source. Just an observation, not necessarily good or bad.The fact that is can also be wireless is great too, as you can use it to make a cordless connection on the road as well. We have not used it's microphone capability or other features very much, as we mainly just use it to wirelessly connect our phone to the speakers in the bed room to play music and stuff while we are in the bedroom or sleeping. While I have never used it for this option, it is also small enough that you would be able to keep it in your pocket, connect it to headphones, and use it to stream audio via bluetooth to your headphones. Again, never was looking to use it that way, but it's capable if you were interested in that.

Its worth it! And really cheap!
I ordered this June 29, 2015 the reception is really good i tried it in my SUV with music & phone call its very clear, easy to use and install, i stick it to my car using Command small clear strip close to the aux outlet. No problem with microphone they can here me very clear. Yesterday i bought another 3 for my dad's car and for my rooms, my only complaint is they already increased for $2 in just few days that's a quarter of the original price. I know its already cheap compared to other brands but that's too much increase, thats my opinion. In the end im still gonna recommend it, cheapest and yet working fine!

Perfect for the price
This device did exactly what it said it would do. I hooked it up to a set of desktop computer speakers with aux cable and played music from my phone over bluetooth. It took me 1 min to plug it in and sync and my phone has no issue connecting to it every time. It has decent range but generally the device you are streaming from will have to be close by. No so much of an issue in a stationary situation like a desk or a car. The audio was crisp and clear without any electrical distortion. For the price, I couldn't be happier. Glad I didn't go with a $20 receiver.

The calls are heard easily on both ends in my tests
For the money you can' t complain. I picked up 2 of these one for about $7 and the other $9. They will let you talk hands free in your car if you have a 3mm jack input. The calls are heard easily on both ends in my tests. Also lets you listen to music via bluetooth on any device that has a 3mm jack. very nice for the price. There are nicer items in this category but if you like simple and cheep that does the job really well this fits the bill.

A piece of junk which only lasts a months, despite warranty statements there is no way to contact the manufacturer.
While it worked OK initially, the receiver failed to charge after a months and was constantly shutting down. There have been a number of similar comments in the reviews, so it appears to be a common problem. While it is suppose to have a warranty, there is not way to claim it, as the contact information has been removed from the manufacturer's website !Stay away from this product !I moved to a more sturdy receiver from Etekcity available on Amazon, which has been working out very well.

It will connect via bluetooth however it sounds like there is only treble coming through
After only a few hours of use it no longer works. It will connect via bluetooth however it sounds like there is only treble coming through. It wasn't that great initially because it would cut out like internet was cutting out however I would check only to see that there is no buffering issue.

Love it!
Cheaper than the first one I bought and it's better! I use it in my work truck and all you have to do after pairing the first time is press the one button once you get in and boom it's connected with in seconds. Works with calls and music.

RCA jacks would be nice
The only issue that I have with this device is that the 3.5mm jack connection isn't robust. It would be much better if the module supplied a pair of screw-down RCA jacks. This device, coupled with a $25 Lepai amp, makes a great and cheap stereo.
