Excellent Computer. Excellent Price!
Unit arrived on time and had it up and running in 5 minutes. This 4 processor Raspberry PI 2 worked for the application I need it for. The reason I got it up so quickly is it replaced the old Raspberry PI Model B. I took the Micro SSD card from the old unit and put it in the new. The old unit would not run streaming video from my Surveillance camera and the Raspberry PI 2 is running at 50% at 640X480 Resolution! I am going to use the old Raspberry PI to run Google Calendar on my desk with a small monitor. These units are great for experimentation or to use as a single use application. I have a home office and can see who is at the front door during the day. At night all the computers are off and if the doorbell rings at 7PM we had no clue who it is. Now I will purchase a small monitor and put it up on the fireplace mantel and we will know who it is!

Great computer, good Wifi dongle, poor case.
The Pi 2: Fantastic product. The B+ form factor is vastly superior to the original Pi layout since cables only ever stick out of two sides of the board instead of all four, so you can treat the power/video side as the "back," the USB/Ethernet side as the "side," and the GPIO edge as the "front." It's much snappier and more responsive than the original. It's an all-around fantastic tool for whatever needs computing. The Wifi dongle: Works. It's 2.4GHz only, and doesn't support ad-hoc mode. It's not going to give you the same range as a bigger dongle with a better antenna, but it doesn't seem to take very much power. The case: I bought a similar case for my Pi B, and it fit that board perfectly. This case for the Pi 2 doesn't fit the board very well at all. It's a very snug fit, the case doesn't open or shut as easily, and the studs that are supposed to go in the mounting holes don't line up, so the board is slightly bent. I like the concept, I like the transparent case so you can see the board, I like the no-tools snap together design, and I like all the easy access holes, but it doesn't fit the board very well.EDIT: I finally decided to remove the case entirely, and I forgot to remove the SD card. The case snapped the SD card in half and bent the card slot a little. The Pi still works, needed a new card. By all means, buy this Pi, throw away the case, and enjoy a great price on a great machine.

Get your piece of the Pi before it's gone!
These raspberry Pi's are great! You can use them for so many different things. I have a couple of these, but I purchased this one for my mom's office. She was constantly having problems with her printer going offline and not communicating via the proprietary software installed by the printer maker. I set the pi up to act as a simple SAMBA server and put a 64GB microSD in it. I then set the printer to save scanned files to the raspberry pi. This allowed people in the office to turn off their machines and other people still be able to use the printer to scan documents. They could then go to their computer where they each have a desktop shortcut to their personal folder on the pi. Lastly, to keep the pi from just filling up with documents, i set a job to run daily that will delete any files older than a week. This has been the most stable solution I've put in place in a long time. Not once have I had to go in to work on it. It has never had to be manually rebooted and stays up for months at a time. These are such a steal for the price. Buy one now, especially if you enjoy tinkering with computers and electronics.

Arch Linux ARM runs great as a lightweight Desktop media center with full 1080p ...
The Rpi 2 with a quad-core 900Mhz Broadcom CPU and 1GB RAM is a true workhorse for all but the most graphic intesive projects, with suprising performance for such a low-power device and a big improvement of the previous genration model B+.Arch Linux ARM runs great as a lightweight Desktop media center with full 1080p video playback capability. Recommend using a fast microSDHC card (the Samsung EVO 32GB microSDHC card runs great) and a good power supply. I was using a 2.0A charging point from a USB hub and it was not enough. I switched to a dedicated Orico 2.4A fast charging hub and it's been running rock-solid with a slightly overclocked Rpi 2.The other items included with the bundle:The Wireless N dongle it came with identifies as a Ralink Technology, Corp. RT5370 Wireless Adapter. I could not get the device to connect to my wireless N WiFi access point on Arch Linux ARM. It would only connect if I charged the access pint settings to wireless G compatiblity mode. Apparently this is a known issue with some wireless N WiFi dongles and access point combinations. 2 Stars. The clear tansparent case it came in provides easy access to the GPIO pins and plenty of ventilation. 4 stars.

Very nice kit, but RPi can be finicky.
Great device, but comes with lots of pesky power issues. It is _very_ finicky about having *exactly* 5V or it starts failing. Even after I spent more than the cost of the RPi on cables, power adapters, usb hubs, etc., it still crashes all the time. The Wi-Fi device works well, but gets _very_ hot to the touch. Better to put it on a self-powered USB hub.The case, as others have noted, is a tight fit, but works well enough.Besides the frustrating power issues, the device itself is amazing with what it can do, and this kit is the best deal I could find. The RPi 2 retails for $35 and everyone else over prices it. I just need to figure out the whole power thing...

Exceptional value
This kit is perfect for anyone purchase a Raspberry Pi. Due to static sensitivity, cases are not optional. This case in particular is both low cost and has a nice hinged lid which some of the cheaper cases lack. Also, a nice touch is the light pipes enabling easier viewing of the status LEDs. The WiFi dongle was great as well. Only some chipsets work with the Pi, and this is one of them.On the subject of Wifi, the popular tutorials for setting up WiFi on Raspbian are out of date. There is no longer a desktop icon. Instead, just click on the networking icon in the upper right (you may need to add it) and select the wireless connection. Not only are the components of good quality, but the kit price is several dollars less than what they would cost separately.
