PULSE ShowerSpas 1088-CH SeaBreeze II Shower System with 8" Rain Showerhead, Slide Bar and Multi-Function Hand Shower, Polished Chrome

I took out the little screen inside that makes your water pressure lower. I don’t know why that’s in there. Other than that, this is the perfect shower! It’s all metal in case you’re wondering. We’ve been building a place, and had to replace a shower that had some plastic parts that claimed to be “all metal.” I would buy this thing over and over and put it in my house.

Just installed it and it seems to work well & look decent. However my factory sealed package had some missing minor parts, & I had to improvise on the plastic shower head coupling to get it to seal. I am not a professional plumber but own multiple properties I have totally rehabbed myself, to include all plumbing work. Mine didn't come with enough gaskets to seal all the couplings (hose ends & rain shower head), but fortunately I had a couple of my own. It also didn't come with the lube to seal the rubber O rings (moving parts) that the instructions says is 'included'. Finally, the shower head is designed to pivot on a ball fitting sealed by a beveled plastic gasket tightened in place by a chromed plastic ring on the top of the shower head. Upon first testing the head leaked, and after additional hand-tightened-only the beveled plastic gasket cracked. I had to seal it 100% silicone but it worked. One last thing, they give you the Allen wrenches you'll need, but you may also need a thin 20mm wench to tighten the head to the source pipe. The clearance between the head connector & the head was too narrow for a standard Craftsman 20mm open end wrench so I eventually resorted to channel-locks which did scar up the chrome a little, but due to the head size & how high my shower is plumbed for it cannot be seen. If the head was plumbed for standard height it would have been noticeable, so I would have been off to the H/W store in search of a narrower 20mm wrench. Anyway it came out good in the end, but could have went better with a little better QC, and a little less plastic.Follow-up - in tearing down the cardboard box I did find a tiny ziplock bag with the lube - still give it 3 stars for the plastic to price ratio.

So, we went without a master bedrooom shower for over two years! It took so long because we decided it would be best to remodel the entire bathroom. We went with this rain shower combo because it was the closest we could get to go with our vintage inspired bathroom without breaking the bank. The rain shower head is ahhh-making! It is gentle for sensitive skin especially after a beach day resulting in sunburn. The handheld shower is perfect for rinsing shampoo from my super thick, coarse, curly hair. We did not have to remove the water-saving regulator in it as the water pressure was adequate enough. The hand held can slide up or down the shower bar, can swivel, and also has the ability for use with the rain shower at the same time. Our handy man had absolutely no issues installing it. He said the directions were clear and the the materials were of excellent quality. We made no mistake selecting this shower system. Love it!!!

This shower head makes a beautiful addition to our newly renovated shower. The chrome has a clean and bright look to it, and our plumber had no problems installing it. The only bump in the road after installation was that we immediately noticed that the cartridge was bad. When the shower was running, water would leak out of the diverter. I contacted Pulse's customer service and they immediately expedited a new part to us (we paid for shipping, otherwise, you need to create a ticket with customer service, and it would be a longer wait to get the part). My contact, Martin, was awesome. He was knowledgeable and so helpful, and within a few days, that new cartridge fixed everything! We've been enjoying the shower head for a few weeks now with no other complaints whatsoever.

It took me a while to find what I thought was the right product but the measures given in the description are wrong, so I can't install this product.On the description below, they show 29in from the bottom of the flow divider to the top of the arm. In reality, it is 29in to the water outlet through the wall. Result for me, the water divider hits my shower control valve trim. For other, it could be the ceiling of the shower since you have to add 8in on top of the 29in for the arm.Disappointing and waste of time.Something else that would be useful to know is the length of the nipple extension that comes with it (about 4in). Depending of the thickness of your wall and tile, it can be an issue but nowhere to be found in the description.

We replaced a shower head with handheld with this Pulse shower system. On the positive side, it is very well constructed with brass and ABS while most in this price range are plastic. After installation, there was a very, very loud whistling sound if we tried to only use the shower head. We contacted Pulse, and they sent us a new converter cartridge. This did not fix the problem. We had a plumber take a look and there is no obstruction in the piping. We called Pulse again (in fact twice) with no response. We replaced the cartridge adapter that is part of the on/off water valve. Still not working. We’ve spent too much money and time to be left with an inferior product.

Bought this shower head combination as I had basic one in my shower stall. Works great! Install was very easy, just unscrew your current shower head and set this one up. Instructions are very straight forward. I only had one minor issue with the bottom mount, the double sided tape didn’t hold to my smooth tile. Came off within a month of use. I didn’t want to drill holes into the tile to screw it in so I just used some 100% silicone And wedged a piece of wood between the opposite wall and the bottom of the shower head temporarily till it dried. Been holding for over 8 months without any issues. Would highly recommend, it’s like your own spa!
