American Home Nylon 3 by 5-Feet US Flag Set with 7-Feet Spinning Flag Pole

Now that I've had this flag and the spinning pole for about a full month now, I am very pleased with it. The flag's bright colors look beautiful in the sunshine. The spinning pole works well and has solved the problem with my previous flag of wrapping around the pole. Naturally I tired of having to go outdoors, wade through the shrubbery in front of the wall holding the flag, and unwrap the flag from around the pole. The only problem I've had with this flag and pole is that the plastic inserts and screws for mounting the bracket were too small. High gusting winds have exerted such strong pressure on the mounting bracket that it was pulled loose from the wall. On one recent day the strong winds exerted such force on the flag that the top two screws holding the bracket to the wall were pulled completely loose, causing the flag to lean forward, almost touching the ground. Now I have re-mounted the bracket with stronger toggle bolts rated to hold up to 80 pounds and hope this will keep the pole and flag securely mounted in strong gusting winds.

6 ft pole, NOT 7 ft. I'm so disappointed. I purchased this exact set years ago and it came with a 7 ft pole. On this order, I measured the pole and confirmed that I received a 6 ft pole. If the pole is mounted vertical, the flag touches surface it's mounted on. With a 7 ft pole, this doesn't happen. A 6 ft pole is too short for vertical mounting.

I found everything in this kit to be of high quality. The multi-adjustable mounting bracket is painted white and is very heavy duty. I believe you need a seven foot pole with a 5-foot flag, it just looks better. The pole consists of two pieces and you screw them together. The stitching on the flag as well as the embroidered stars are very well done. I would not hesitate to purchase this again.

This flag & pole set is just what I wanted. The flag flies at the slightest breeze and never gets bunched around the pole. I've only had it a few weeks, but we've had several days of substantial winds and the pole and flag handle those winds very well. I used an existing mounting bracket, but it's essentially the same as the one in this kit and it has performed well for several years. You can't go wrong with this kit.

Finish is just so-so. Scratches and foreign material in the finish. Pole sags at the joint. Not hopeful it will last the winter. At least it’s almost 7’ Long.

This was a lot of money to break after a small amount of wind. I purchased it because it would swivel with the wind. Should have lasted longer than four months. I would not purchase again.

Quality flag kit. Screws could have been longert to secure better into post. Just used my own instead. Otherwise very happy and recommend.

It worked great until we had a small windstorm. And truly, it was a small windstorm. The flag pole broke at the base. The metal holder near the base sheared and snapped. Not great quality.
