I've always used pre-pasted wallpaper, however this worked great. It was a bit messy but worked and the wallpaper is still on the wall! Thank goodness.

I had fabric I wanted to use as wallpaper. I tried using fabric starch as in YouTube videos. Complete failure. I had already ordered this product just in case. I mixed one box with one gallon of water. Thicker than recommended. (I could have thinned it out if necessary). This product was fantastic. Easily applied to wall with paint brush. Excellent adhesion, and work time. Held fabric in place without any fasteners. Wall is not smooth and had texture. Fabric stuck to wall without any bumps, used wallpaper smoother and my hand. Dried clear not white. Used extra Teknabond on seams to stick down, and match seams. Wallpaper was going to be over $2,000 for metallic. The fabric was $50 and the glue $10. Hung fabric like wallpaper. My friends are impressed and jealous of my high fashion designer wall. This project smoked any HGTV or YouTube videos as far as being much user friendly. I only used 1/2 box for a 12x14 wall. Amazing product for custom work.

Product remained very lumpy after placing in container and mixing with water. Followed directions on side of box. Might have tried to break up and mix slower, to achieve a better mixture. Blended with a hand mixer for better result. Let sit for the appropriate length of time.Spreadable on walls with some small lumps, which I hand removed. Dried clear. Wallpaper clung to prepared walls well. Would use sizing again.

Good product & super easy to dissolve & use. Good adhesion!WARNING: you CANNOT “save” dissolved but unused product for a later time. I had some in a covered container and went to do a repair after it was covered for a week——-it had totally liquified & was unusable.

A little goes a very long way, and it works very well. The ideal way to mix this is to put a little warm water in a large bowl, then very slowly sprinkle the powder over the water as you vigorously stir with a whisk or fork. When it dissolves, sprinkle more over the surface as you stir it in again. You can also add a little more warm water as needed, continuing to add and whisk until you eventually have the right amount and consistency. I think it works best when it has the consistency of pudding. Some people prefer to put the paste on the paper, but I prefer putting the paste on the wall, making sure to not be too skimpy and to not miss any spots. When the paper is in the right position on the wall, I use a damp cloth to firmly press in the center and wipe outward in both directions up and down the paper until eventually every bubble is gone.

We had some really old border that was originally pre-pasted, not so much. Tried to put it up as such and failed to stick. This paste was just the what I needed to make this old boarder stick. It was slick enough to allow the paper to be moved into the perfect position. Plenty left for the next job.

this is very hard to get lumps out of it. I whipped this like forever, and it still had little lumps that wouldn't dissolve. finally, I just used it that way. it held my wallpaper and that's a plus and I guess that's all that matters. I have a roller for my wallpaper and that helped to smooth out glue behind it. glue powder is supposed to give you a smooth yogurt like consistency, and I just couldn't get it there. no i wouldn't recommend this product for large wallpapering. for simple or fun, poster glue or etc. it would work fine for the price.

I must be one of those rare individuals who enjoys putting up wallpaper - but I do. This paste is easy to mix with cold water and has great adhesive qualities. I mixed up a slightly less strong combination of paste and water as I was doing just half of a wall but it still worked great. Would definitely recommend.
