Lightailing Light Set for (Architecture Chicago) Building Blocks Model - Led Light kit Compatible with Lego 21033(NOT Included The Model)

***Update 7/24/2020***I ordered a second kit, installed it perfectly, and by the grace of God I didn't tear any cables. A few weeks later, and the lights are burning out. First on the bridge, then on the John Hancock building. This kit is truly crap in a box.Original Review:I was meticulous while putting this together. I attempted to follow the instructions precisely as described including the cabling diagrams. A wire ripped, and that was the end of this lame adventure. The instruction manual is trash because the pictures are of such low quality it is nearly impossible to determine how the wires are running. And the wires are so delicate, if you place one under the wrong piece, you will end up with a ripped wire, which absolutely destroys the kit. I am truly surprised at how many positive reviews this kit is receiving because the instructions are so rubbish. Beyond just the wires, the pieces really don’t fit together properly once the kit is installed. Significant gaps in the pieces, eyesores. For example, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CLOSE THE BRIDGE AGAIN because the water pieces are forced out of the display. I do not recommend this kit, and I suppose I generally don’t recommend this idea. Someone must have a real passion for intricate wiring to enjoy this crap, and I do not. I expected a moderately difficult to difficult install but I got an evening of frustration and utter disappointment. I got to step 26 out of 52 before a wire tore, how far will you get?

I loved this as an additional gift w/ the architecture set. But when we finally allowed him to open it (only with us present) is was very tangled in the box. The pieces are fragile so plz be careful. A few lights popped trying to decipher the tangles .All in all it is a great addition to ANYTHING.My son makes Rooms w/ his legos and somehow has nightlights. Working Mini TVs lol connected to the lightailing set and power socket. Genius 10 yr old. Thank you guys though!!! Definitely need a few more of these.

The lights make the city look amazing. It turned the Lego set into a really cool piece of decor for my 17 year old son's room. The only recommendation is to put the lights on as you build the set. It was hard to go back and take it apart to add the lights. It also made it more difficult to hide the wires. Overall loved the set it looks good

This is a good lighting kit for the money, it's got great value and I think that the only thing holding the kit back is the set itself. The towers all look great. I'm not crazy about the spot light though, that could have been used somewhere else. The bridge is very well done. I haven't had a lot of luck hiding the wires, but for where I have it displayed it shouldn't be a problem.

I've always been skeptical of purchasing light kits, and for the sets that I have (Simpsons, Imperial Star Destroyer), they always seemed a little expensive, so when I got the Chicago Architecture set, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to test it out, given that the Chicago light kit was much cheaper (it's a smaller set, so it's going to be)I'm more than happy with the product. The LED lights have been carefully glued/drilled into position on actual Lego blocks which replace some of the existing parts of the set, making it seemlessly integrate into the set. I'm not going to lie, the wire between the LED's is thin, so you have to be careful not to break the chain, and it can be tricky to hide the wiring, but with practice, persitance and patience, I managed to get it done.LIGHTAILING have put together a good product here, and I'll be happy to add more of their light sets to my other Lego kits now.(Will add photos later)
