Stay away from the product. The build quality is bad as it does not hold the weight of iphone 6 plus. Due to wait there is locking system in the rod and the phone slide left or right. I order this just before my trip to LA and it is a disappointment. Also the remote does NOT come with a battery so you have to buy a separate and it does not mention that what battery should be used. CHEAP MARKETING/SELLING STRATEGY!!!

a very affordable model, but has some drawbacks...
Note: this item was provided for free in exchange for an objective review. This is the fourth selfie stick I have tested so far. In basic functions they are very similar to each other with slight differences in secondary features. This selfie stick has a hallow metal foldable body and a rubber non slip handle. It connects to the handle bit with a hinge type neck. It measures 41 inches from the bottom to the end of the top of the neck (handle excluded) This is approximately 5 inches shorter than the other selfie sticks I tried. But, honestly that is not a drawback. The longer lengths put a lot of pressure to the wrist and is not comfortable anyways. So this size is pretty okayThe actual connection between neck and handle is a 0.25 inch screw which can also be used to directly mount a camera or camcorder. Yet I don't see the point of mounting a snapshot camera on a monopod while this shutter is not compatible but if you have a separate shutter you have the option to try. The handle operates in a spring based snapping mechanism. Shape is a little unique but the mechanism is pretty commonly used in selfie sticks.I tested the stability of the handle (after screwing both knobs tightly) and gave it a shake. It looks pretty stable. However, not only this one but all selfiesticks have filmsy plastic parts in these joint and handle regions so it may get broken at some point if too much stress is applied. The unique part of this selfie stick is the separate remote control mechanism it offers. Normally, selfie sticks have their shutters on their handle and the power is through USB mediated charging. This fellow has a separate 2.5X1.5 inches remote control which is powered by a CR2032 battery. As far as I understood from the poorly translated text on the box the battery is good for 6 months if the remote control is used up to 10 times a day...The advantage for this design is that you avoid the shaking of the camera while pressing a shutter on the handle. That is an irritating drawback for most other monopods because the stick amplifies the vibrations due to its length. However a separate shutter unit avoids this problem. The drawback is that you may lose this separate unit unless you put it in a key chain ( or may be attach to the wrist strap that comes with the unit)My main criticism is the lack of instruction manual for this unit. It says nothing. As far as I could figure out you need to connect to the device named 'AB Shutter 3' But connection is not the most reliable I have seen ( may be I am not doing it right, all I do is switch on/off and press the buttons) sometimes it connects sometimes it says wrong passcode or something like that... So far I tried it with amazon firephone and nexus7. Although it says the device is nexus 7 compatible it did not even appear on the list. But firephone worked OK.The shutter works fine and the distance is at least 10m ( what it claims) so it is also fine. The button functionality may depend on your operating system but it is easy to get used to after playing around for a while. Finally, pricewise this is not the cheapest I have seen but can be considered as one of the cheaper models. In conclusion, this separate shutter design has its advantages and disadvantages, other than that it is a pretty ordinary selfie stick. You can consider this one as an option due to its appealing price but it is worth keeping in mind some drawbacks like weird connection issues and lack of instructions..

Standard self-stick with a longer than average pole and detached remote
I received this product free for review but as always, despite receiving a free product I'm perfectly candid in my review. See my video for the real details but the highlights are:* Holds on to your phone reasonably well. Only two points of contact but it has a strong spring.* Solid pole and longer than average by about a foot.* Shutter remote syncs quickly via Bluetooth but it is detached. You should decide carefully if you want a detached or attached remote.PS: I hope my review was helpful. If it was not, then please let me know what I left out that you'd want to know. I always aim to improve.

Easy to Use
Other selfie stick products come with a desk (mini) tripod or other variants. This one has decent construction. It will also hold more than a phone as you can mount cameras with a .25 inch tripod mounts (common). It collapses and extends easily – just pull and turn each section and you are half way there. There is not a clip to hold the Bluetooth shutter remote, which I find a bit odd as other similar models do.The included clamp mounts on the .25 inch tripod mount and holds your phone securely. You have the option to swivel the holder as well. For the GoPro (and other cameras) option, you take the clamp off and attach directly to the tripod mount on your device. Easy to use!!This is a fun product – so go out and take some great pictures!Tested April 2015. I received a promotional code for this product in hopes of an unbiased review.

Most inexpensive selfie stick to date.
Selfie sticks are all the buzz right now. Currently I have 12 in my drawer from kind manufacturers looking for reviews. Of the 12 this is the least expensive. BT pairing is a breeze and you'l be clicking away in no time.I would have NEVER purchased a selfie stick so kudos to you for actively pursuing it. After testing them out I wouldn't go without one. People hate, but then those people have to find someone to take all of their pictures for them. Ive taken selfie sticks to weddings, basebally games and regular old nights out. Being able to snap photos with my girlfriend anywhere is a luxury that I have never had before. These little guys will stay in business until we all have drones following us around.Product received in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.Thank you for reading!
