SAFEWORD - Short synopsis - THE GAME meets EYES WIDE SHUT Sabina, a young girl with a dark past, wakes up in the dungeon of a masked predator. She's been drugged on a blind date and the night promises terror...just as in her past. But when she outwits her captor and escapes half-naked into the night, her dark odyssey truly begins -- she runs into a trio of adventurers who transport her to a wild fetish party, all the while taking her story as just another kinky role-playing game. But when her tormentor show up at the party and tries to claim her as his prize, will anyone save her? And who is he? The man who drugged her and forced himself on her years ago? Her date from earlier that same day? Or are they one in the same and now he's come back to finish what he started? Or is this all a twisted game just so Sabina can have her own revenge? And if it is, who are the players? And who's GETTING PLAYED? Twist piles on twist and everyone plays their role...until they're all unmasked in the end...and often undressed... ...of course if it's too much for you, you can always say the SAFEWORD... ...IF you can guess it...if not, hold on for the ride...

Fifty shades of vomit..on meth.
This is the worst movie I've ever seen. Imagine "Blair Witch Project" with 1/10th of the budget. Imagine a few, bored, suburban twits fondling their camcorders while making a pointless, misogynist, shoddy, phony, tedious, rape-torture garbage flick in their neighbors' vacant tract home. In lieu of a plot, they they bore you at the end with some more bits of unwatchable, recycled footage. (In an actual film this would be called a montage.) Spoiler alert: In the last two minutes of the film they offer the ludicrous conclusion that they are a secret team of crime fighters. I guess it was unintentionally funny. The vomit in my mouth kept me from laughing. It's only marginally worse than the lousiest of the free movies on Amazon. But to charge money for this? They should be forced to watch it until they refund my money or utter the safe-word.

Not a BDSM Movie.
This movie has as much in common with BDSM as a tomato does with vegetables. It will commonly be confused and often found in the same area; but the truth is they are not the same. The movie, while having an interesting story line is more of a thriller with a horrible representation of BDSM.If you want to see a bit of a twist to a story and like sub-average acting and slander of the BDSM world, then this is one that you might like. The gore is not believable, when you get to the end you will question why many scenes happened, and if you know anything about BDSM you will spend half the movie wondering why no one stopped the events that occurred. The positives to the movie are the "kidnapper" is the most realistic character. The story line, while a bit messy is a clever idea, and the character development is done in a way that leaves you wondering about the individuals through the movie (a key part of any thriller). If you are looking for nudity, BDSM, violence, or gore. This is not your movie. If you are looking for something that is just entertaining enough to keep watching, then I recommend watching this with some friends Mystery Science Theater 3000 style.

Disjointed writing and less than stellar acting
While watching this film it was difficult to figure out what was happening and why, which is sometimes good, but in this case it really wasn’t the film kept jumping back and forth between what is supposed to be the main story, Sabina trying to escape from someone trying to kill her and sessions with her therapist. We later find out that the therapist has suggested an alternative therapy to help Sabina recover from a prior sexual assault. What really struck me is that during the credits there seemed to be an endless stream of written by credits, checking IMDB, there are 8 writers credited, breaking that down for a 78 minute film it seems that each of them got to write less than 10 minutes of the film (maybe that is why the film is so disjointed), they should have hired another writer to put it all together into a cohesive script. It reminded me of a student film project where all your friends get credit for something just so they can say they worked on a film. If you want to see Stephanie Edmonds running around half naked for almost the whole film then it is worth a couple of dollars, other than that there are better ways to spend 75 minutes of your day.

Where can I find parties like this? This is far superior that 50 Shades
Now this is how BSDM is done! Where can I find parties like this? This is far superior that 50 Shades... But, it's only for the sick, twisted, and demented. I would recommend it, but I know we're a rare breed.

I would have liked for them to take it a bit deeper into ...
Interesting movie. I would have liked for them to take it a bit deeper into the BDSM stuff before it gave away the twist. I would have like to see her tormented more. I think that would have made the ending different

Not worth watching
I haven't seen Fifty Shades of Grey so I can't compare this to it like the review does. I'm not sure what I was expecting from this movie but I don't like that they showed this woman being kidnapped and violently tortured in the first few minutes. To me this isn't an erotic movie - it's just violent and not sexy at all. The only nudity you'll see in this is a few scenes with topless women and there are no sex scenes. It's just a sick story if you can even call it that.Maybe it's just not for me but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
