These are outsize rings to hold large lampshades. Never seen any bigger.

how do you fit it to lampshade

You put it under the hole that you would screw the bulb through. It reduces the size of the hole so the lampshade doesnt sit on the bulb

Hi, amazon customer, take the bulb out, unscrew the coller , put the fitting in side the lamp shade push up to light fitting , with the lamp shade, screw the collor up gently , put the bulb in, I hope this helps, my black ones do the job perfect , if you need any more help, just messsge again, george , amazon customer
