Sugar Free Gum (Champagne Dreams, 12 Packs (144 Pieces))

One of the things I've struggled with since having my Bariatric surgery is the sweet craving - not like I can really eat a lot of anything, but periodically I really crave sweet stuff. I've been trying to find something to give me a little of the flavor without eating icing out of the container. This gum seriously tastes like cake with icing. For me the flavor lasted about 2 hours and the gum stayed soft and pliable - supper impressed with it and have ordered the Cotton Candy version as well. I won't say that the gum is perfect, but OMG if it helps me get over the sweets issues, I'm good with it.

This gum is terrific. Tastes like cherry limeade. Do I wish this came in giant sacks filled with thousands of pieces of gum ... Yes. But I'll keep buying until then LOL. Same fresh, quality gum you buy a pack at a time in the store for more if you can even find it. I love this gum in this flavor and the thin mint cookie as well. There's always a package of this nearby and I'm constantly snapping on this gum. Oh and my dentist saw the pack and said this is good gum to chew!

I purchased a pack of this at target, and LOVED IT! It is like summer in a pouch. It didn't come in the pictured box, just all the pouches wrapped up in plastic together. Expiration date is September 26, 2020. It wasn't old or anything and keeps its flavor for a really long time, as well as the chewiness. It does contain aspartame, but I do not have brain complications so I am not at risk for Aspartame poisoning. All in all, really great gum at a low price.

After reading good reviews on here I decided to give it a try, also to support PROJECT 7 charity efforts. The package looks way larger on the ad than in reality, not a turn off but one would expect more for a gourmet bubblegum. The taste is NO WHERE IN THE BALLPARK OF CAKE TASTE, it does NOT taste like wedding cake, does NOT taske like cake, does NOT taste like icing and certainly does NOT taste like fondant event. I don't know if the 2016-19 had a different recipe but as of April 2020 the bubblegum taste like a plain vanilla custard or cream, not even madacasgar or french vanilla that tend to have more body. The sweetness does last longer than a Dentyne or other sugarfree bubblegums and does not leave a bitter after taste like commercial brands. I think that, if this particular flavor does sell just to rename it something else closer to what the candy actually tastes like, aproximations are not enough and frankly this is not even remotly close to any flavor that recalls cake. Perhaps the brand's other flavors are more sucessful, possibly the sour varieties but I'm not sure if I want to spend another 17 dollars in average tasting candy nor the packaging looks appealing for this price range. We understand the charity behind it but that should not be an excuse to put an average looking product charging gourmet prices.

I got these for my wedding shower giveaway boxes. I had a destination wedding and wanted to give those who were joining us, some items they could use in Cancun..and some items that would get them excited for the trip. These were perfect to add to these boxes and tasted great! It really does taste like wedding cake! I also love the company and what they stand for. They give back to different causes, for every purchase you make. I have tried other products from this company and they never disappoint! These were perfect giveaways for our destination wedding!

I would give this product zero stars if I could. I purchased a pack of the Birthday Cake flavor at Target and loved it, but the Birthday Cake flavor here is not the same. As you can see in the photo, there are no sprinkles (the version from Target was covered in colorful sprinkles), and the flavor fades in less than 30 seconds. Total waste of money.

This is the nastiest gum I have ever chewed. At first the flavor is really good. But within 10 minutes the flavor is gone, and in it's place is the nastiest taste. Sending this back, as I won't even chew the rest. Also, the gum pieces are really small. Takes about 5-6 to get a decent amount of gum to chew. So if you think about that, it is also the most expensive nastiest gum I have ever chewed.Just tried to return it. Even though it was a prime item, it says it isn't eligible for return. What a rip-off. The flavor I got was Fairytale Fruit, but I wouldn't try the other flavors either.

In the age of "more is better" I find most foods, drinks, confections to be ridiculously over-flavored. Hot, sour, sweet, etc. Project 7 Gourmet Gum, on the other hand, has a very pleasant "grown up" flavor that doesn't overwhelm the tastebuds. That's not to say it's overly mild - it has plenty of flavor, it's just not obnoxious. Maybe I'm an old fart, but it tastes the way things used to taste before everyone had to turn everything up to 11. The sparkling Mimosa is juicy and authentic tasting. Very refreshing. And the flavor lasts a good long time. Will definitely order more because people are already swiping from my stash!
