These cups are great for drinking tea. Each cup holds about 5oz, so they're not as small as a typical "gongfu" tea cup. I thought they would be smaller and was totally shocked at how big they were when they arrived, but I'm actually quite happy with the size now that I've used them.They are very thick and hefty. Every time I set one of these cups down, I feel confident that it won't break on hard surfaces. It feels great in the hand, looks very charming (don't expect perfection in the paint work), and makes for a very interesting tea smelling and drinking experience. I love it.
