Foam IT 1202 Class 1 Open Cell Anti-Microbial Spray Foam Kit

Like others that have left feedback, I too experienced a limitation with this product in that I did not get the coverage expected, even after taking careful steps to ensure that optimal conditions were present at time of application. I was very careful to warm my tanks for 2 days prior to application to a warm surface (measured at 70 deg F). The chemicals are incredibly sensitive to temperature deviations from optimal (75 deg F) conditions. I could deal with this problem if the purchase price were more reasonable, but I paid nearly $895 for this and probably got about 60% of the coverage I expected. Now I'm left with an unfinished project. I'm giving this product an overall poor review because the price is far to high to excuse any miscalculation in coverage. I plan to approach the manufacturer to request some form of compensation.I was also fairly unsatisfied with the shipping delay for this product. It took 16 days (11 business days) to arrive, which was 5 days longer than the latest delivery date estimated by Amazon.Positive feedback about this product? It does a good job of filling in cracks and other difficult areas. Also, it provides a great base insulation layer before batts or other materials are installed.

Take your time, understand the directions, watch videos on YouTube, cover everything. There will be spray back, be sure you cover the floor with something that is taped down or cared board. Painters plastic will just stick to you feet and be useless. After the mess and clean up I was happy with the results.

Top of the line, best thing I ever did. well worth the money, did my whole underside of the floor. 1200 sq ft.

Works as stated. Very easy to use.

Shipping was quick but kit was faulty when arrived foam it green people were very helpful and over night shipped me a new kit that worked flawlessly however I got less yield then advertised which may been my own error do to some over spray and the fact I was doing a ceiling

well it was ok, i thought it would go longer..that is why i ordered the 1202 in stead of the smaller one .. my building is 20x30x8 and the walls is all it did,i was hopping it would do the ceiling also but it did not and i was moving fast with the sprayer so it is not real thick..

Spraying in dry and sunny 71 degree(in shade) weather, changing tips several times (following instructions)Foam started to shrink and detach from the studs, leaving 1/4" gaps next to studs in many places. Some foam pieces in the ceiling were loose, not attaching to the OSB properly (likely due to the shrinking)Was enough to do a 10x10x7' shed and roof about 2.5" ceiling and 2" on walls (advertised is 300sq ft at 4") so I got about 1/2 of that considering I had windows and doors.I'm very unhappy that the foam started shrink and that there was no mention of that in the installation instructions. If I had known I would only have sprayed the ceiling (since I wanted to fill the cavity fully)After the failed spray I was working with their support Chris who was very nice (he told me that it was too cold or too hot that day or I sprayed too thin or too thick. (I sent them several pictures)Since I had sprayed mostly 2" (which was the plan) and it was in the perfect temperature range he didn't really know why but he did try and blame me. In the location where I filled the cavity more (over 2") the cracking was reduced.I asked them to send me a smaller kit so I could fix all the cracks and fill voids that happened due to the shrinking foam, but the company refused. They would instead give me $100 of on a new 400 kit. I proposed that I would pay shipping only but they refused.Then I asked to take the $100 credit and send me 2 patch kits that were $29 each, they didn't like that either but I got 2 for 1 patch kits with free shipping.Summary, this company did not stand by their product, no where does it say that the foam may shrink and warn to not use up the tanks until you have waited a couple hours after spraying.Tip, if you spray overhead, wear a baseball cap in addition to the tyvek hood, it doesn't clog up the goggles.

Customer Service is Terrable and Rude!they refuse to stand behind there product!Buyer Beware! This does not work! Evapurated after use.
