Great Little Box For the Money
Did extensive research beforehand and settled on this TV box because of the following specific points:PROS:4GB/64GB (max memory/storage)Android 9 (newest OS)**ROOTED** (HUGE plus! don't have to bother myself)Bluetooth (option for wireless keyboard w/o using a USB port)(2) USB's, one a 3.0 [2.0 port can be used for wireless mouse, optionally, even with a BT Kybd]Remote has more control buttons than many other modelsFairly priced for the specs ($69.99)CONS:DDR3 vs DDR4CPU Rock 3318 vs 3328If I gamed those would have been weightier cons, but since I don't I wasn't too concerned about the slower RAM and chip. Though it's always nice to future-proof investments by getting the fastest RAM/CPU you can for the price, as even decoding video requires a lot of processing power.I owned a digital media player before (IMP150 for last 4yrs) which was not a TV box, but a simple media player for playing files off a stick/external HDD. It worked well but was not upgradeable [won't play H.265].My particular purpose in getting this box was NOT to 'cut the cord' with satellite or to stream TV, but did want to become familiar with those options for the future. My main reason was just to get a media player that can be upgraded with new codecs as needed, to play files from a stick/HDD. Being able to use it to go online and watch documentaries off YouTube or the like (and become familiar with streaming TV for future purposes) were bonuses. The remote is actually useful for the purposes I use the box for, and feels good in the hand with a nice layout. I only wish it was backlit, triggered by motion. So that when you pick it up, the buttons light for a few moments. That would be exceedingly handy.I also plugged a wireless mouse dongle into the USB 2.0 port to navigate through the OS and set it up. A wireless keyboard is almost mandatory for typing as it's very cumbersome to use an on-screen keyboard on a TV where the keys are so spread out, but that is true of any of these TV boxes. And this box has BT so you don't have to use a USB port for the keyboard if you don't want to, though it has 2 USB ports, so that would be ok too.In the end, a backlit remote, DDR4 and the 3328 chip would make it flawless, but then it wouldn't be $69.99. So for the price, it's a very good value. The fact that it comes rooted is a huge plus. All in all, I only wish the remote was backlit, but I don't think it's fair to take off a star for that. For me, it's a big winner.

You're buying an Android computer, not a streaming media device
Android store will see this device as almost a notebook/laptop/tablet/etc. not as a streaming device. So good luck on getting Amazon prime or other streaming apps to cast to this box.It uses a mostly defunct casting service called DLNA.None, and I mean NONE of my Android or windows devices could find this box.I'm going on 4 hours of trouble shooting literally rebooting every device and in some cases factory resetting the device just to see if it will work.I did get one, ONE (new app that needs downloading and permissions for EVERYTHING) app to find the box. But it only shares, kinda, your videos and pictures on your phone to the box in a streaming like manner. I think it would be faster just to share it to the box via a push and play it in a native app.It does not receive Miracast or Chromecast streams, but it can share itself via Miracast and Chromecast. So they aren't exactly being dishonest when they say it supports it, however it does not support it in the way to think it should. The device is questionable so I'm not sure I want to add my Amazon password (where things can be purchased from because it now has access to my account) so I can watch something natively.I did enter my password into the Netflix app because it's a different password than any of my other accounts and can easily be killed if it's compromised. Video quality is good. Watching on my junk TV I'm trying to breath new life into, but the box detected 720P instead of 1080P.I can't get it to do 1080P. It's not even an option...All in all, not what I thought I was getting. I thought I was getting an Android streaming/casting/media device and I got a small computer running Android that displays via HDMI.

WOW JUST WOW!!!
I have to admit this is one of the few times I thought something was to good to be true. There is no way this has over 50 reviews with no bad ones, nothing but praise. These have got to be fake. Why is the seller answering some questions but not other important ones? We will get to that later.Out of the box you connect the cables, take 2 minutes to go through the simple setup and that is it. You just then sit back and enjoy. YouTube is there, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Kodi with a different name, Chrome, Play Store. Pretty much what you need to start you out. Then you can start watching videos or go to the play store to get anything else you want/need.The remote is good but you are going to want a keyboard to navigate. Same with all other android boxes. They really need to include one and nobody would buy any other box on Amazon at this price (it is that good). It is ddr3 VS 4 and the processor is not smoking fast. This is only going to impact you if you are into high end games. If you are looking to cut the cord then look no further. It really will make your TV into a REALLY SMART TV!People ask.....Does it stream Netflix in 4K? (the seller avoids this question so let me try and help)Netflix is very picky about what you need to stream native 4k shows. Only a few TV's and devices can do it. You also need a Netflix 4k premium account. So no it does not stream native 4k on Netflix. What it does do is a wonderful job of upscale to 4k on Netflix. It will look just as good unless you have a TV over 65 inches and are sitting less then 2 feet away to pick out all the tiny differences.Does it stream native 4k on Prime? Amazon Prime is not as lame as Netflix and does not charge more for 4k content. Short answer is yes. Long answer in no not on everything but it will upscale to 4k which is just as good.Does it stream native 4k on Youtube, movies you have, and other services? YesDoes it buffer or have choppy videos when trying to stream? Nope, has never happened to me once no matter what I tried to watch. Is it fast when trying to navigate the internet? Yes very, it has a good amount of memory and fast connection speeds.Does it run hot? No not under normal use. When you turn the box on, it is instantly ready to go. There is not a second of wait time. I have seen people say 40 seconds for a reboot. I am not sure what they all have installed/connected it takes me half that time.Would you recommend it to others? Yep lol I pretty much have to anyone with eyes/ears.There is really nothing bad to say about this box. Sure there are a few things they could add to make it better like a few more usb's, ddr4, a faster processor, a voice remote (but that would also add to the cost). Right now it is by far one the the best android boxes on the market. If they would throw in a mini keyboard, add instructions on how to make the remote operate your TV rather then just the ability (without impacting the price) it would it would be the hands down best!
