Platube Laces MULTICOLOR LED SHOELACES

What else can I say? These shoelaces work and they are awesome, especially for the price. Basically it's this plastic object (which looks sort of cheesy but in a dark environment where you're supposed to wear these, you wouldn't even notice them) attached to a flexible sort of fiber optic cable. It takes awhile to lace your shoe but once you get them up they look amazing. Make sure to use the other holes (you will see what I mean) in the plastic thing to make a loop because there is only one cable per shoe so you have to lace the entire shoe with only one cable (no worries, the cable is long enough). It's not that bright when lights are around but when it's dark the lights are really noticeable. They're shoelaces and they glow. What more can I ask for?

The media could not be loaded.  These were perfect for what I needed them for & the price isn't bad either. They laced up great in my high top sneakers so they should accommodate most shoes. They glow pretty bright in the dark too. The only thing I would complain about is that at times the laces would disconnect from the little battery light pack, which obviously would cause the shoes to stop glowing on whichever side it disconnected on. Not too big of a deal & it can easily be put back in, but a little bit annoying at times. I think maybe just a little dab of crazy glue might do the trick, especially if you're planning on a lot of movement. So maybe a sturdier lock for the laces could be in order, otherwise they work as described & work well.

These would be a fun gift for a friend. Its not a bad product. Its basically a piece of plastic tubing that is connected at both ends to a little box with led lights at opposite ends. The led lights shine through the tube at both ends making it light up. The lights aren't very bright. It looks nice in the dark, but not very noticable in a bright room. Overall, its not bad.

I don't know why i keep expecting these products to be el'wire but it's a LED unit with solid flexible clear tubing as the shoe laces. they are very cool but i don't think the light source will stay on if you end up running around. this unit has many different lighting setting and so this is a very cool looking product. the light also gets duller towards the front of your shoe cause the light has so many turns to go through haha but will def impress who ever sees them.

Oh my lord, these laces are so amazing! When I ordered them I was at first a bit skeptical because of the bad reviews but these shoe laces beyond exceded my expectations. They light up really well as long as you remember to stick the other end of the tube into the battery. They are pretty decently sturdy. I'm a bit of a raver chick so I'm always needing bright, durable lights that I can easily move around in and these were perfect!

ok. i bought 2 pairs. in one package one of the LEDs on the unit did not work. the light does not travel the full length of the lace. it dims to nothing the farther away from the unit you go. in the other package if you even tapped the unit the light went off on one. and on the other youu had to hold down the button so that it would dimly stay on and even then it just flickered weakly. these are garbage. you are better of buying some EL wire and running iit through your shoe laces. the batteries last a while and the wire is more plyable if i had known that prior i would have just bought another EL wire and unit to go with the one i have and wear tall socks to hold the unit on my ankle. turn away people these are cheap worthless knock offs!!!!!

Love these!! They light up perfectly. Stayed lit all night. Love that you can turn them off when you want to so they don't have to stay lit up the whole time. It was a little difficult to figure them out because the glow tubing came out right after we opened them so directions would be nice. Overall a great product especially for the price!

First of all I ordered Platube, and received a different brand. Not happy about receiving something different than I ordered!! Already had Platube in blue and pink. Blue worked just okay, pink only half of it lit up. So I ordered more blue being the brightest of the colors, upon receiving the majic shoelace brand, the blue was just as bad as the pink color, if not worse! It barley lit up! Over all the shoelaces are slightly visable in the dark, but not like the picture. Platube is a better brand than the Majic Shoelace brand, but still think product not worth the money! I won't return them because shipping will cost me the same as the cost of the shoelaces!
