Baton is hard to retract once deployed. It is as if it locks in the full extended position. The only way to retract the baton is to rap it on its end almost to the point of feeling like it is going to bend, or worse back onto itself. The scabbard that comes with it is cheaply constructed also. When the baton is fully retracted, the scabbard barely allows the retaining cover to close. The stitching for the belt loop was such that it came apart the first time I used it on my belt. I would neither recommend nor deny anyone to purchase this item. If I knew then what I know now, I would probably have purchased a different one.

So I saw a 3 star review on this baton, complaining about it being "too heavy..." That's how I knew this baton would be perfect for me! It's pretty darn solid and it doesn't rattle very much, so it's pretty quiet. It's very legit for home defense, but if you're looking for portability, get yourself a 21" or 23" instead. I love it so much that I bought 2 of them. I'm not even kidding lol 5 STARS!!

This is really a piece of junk and I do believe they sent me one that was returned because it was missing parts when I tried to snap it ou the while rod came out. and hit the floor

I am a physical therapist and I am very pleased with this product. It is well made and is a very effective tool for instrument assistive soft tissue mobilization to treat myofasical pain and tendinitis/tendinosis. I have seen excellent results in treating plantar fasciitis, lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), rotator cuff tendinitis/tendinosis, Achilles tendinopathy, thoracolumbar stain, and cervical myofascial pain. The double beveled edge is very effective as well as the ball for fine precision. The concave and convex edges make this tool very versatile. Great value!

I like the ridged handle and looped carrying strap. Easy to open and close. The window breaker tip is a great feature.

Too heavy. Requires tremendous amount of force to re-collapse. Doesnt expand mearly well enough either.

At first it seemed good and sturdy. But then the clip spring that held baton closed broke first day. Which was annoying but not the end of the world. Then the end piece fell off and disappeared the 3rd time I carried it. Not sure if started out as junk or was just put together wrong. But it is junk now.
