This is a beautiful light at a reasonable price. The crystals are made of K9 optical glass. I have a chandelier with the same exact crystals. I included a picture to show the tiny bits of colored light dispersed through the crystals from the little rainbows. It comes with three extra crystals. The lamp is a hard plastic but it does not look like plastic. I have had issues in the past with metal lamp parts corroding or pitting over time even with polish. I don't know what people expect at this price. The lamp was packed well in Styrofoam and none of the crystals were loose. I went to Home Depot and bought a Phillips LED 4.5 Watt/40 Watt replacement wide base chandelier light in warm white. They were selling three bulb packs for $2! This is all this light needs to look good. The bulb is not blocked by anything but these crystals and you will see it somewhat. The chandelier shaped bulb is easier to install in this narrow space. Be careful installing the bulb because of the crystal hooks. It would be better to remove your rings first. I bought this for an older lady who is beginning to become more clumsy but likes a pretty bedside lamp on her small night table. She is thrilled with this light and the colors reflected in the prisms. She broke another lamp. I can always rehang crystals but I don't want her around broken glass. This would also look good inside a bookcase because of the interesting light pattern. It would work in a contemporary design. The on/off switch is about 15 inches from the lamp base and is not the rotating wheel type. It is an easier to use push type switch.

The patterns on this lamp that look like flowers all over have cut out holes in them which I didn't know until I looked it over once it had arrived, it looks nicer this way. I saw a review from someone who colored her lamp sparkly rose gold and I liked it as I love rose gold but I do feel that it may darken the lighting potential that way but it was cool. I feel like I need to test out different light bulbs more to see what would look best as I had a light bulb in mine that actually made this lamp pretty bright but possibly too bright. I never thought this lamp looked cheap lights on or off. Not certain what the crystals are made of, I can't tell but they look nice. The crystal's hang from a metal clip type piece with a cute design on each one. This lamp is very feminine and cute, not too small either. Mine had come with 3 extra crystals with the hooks on them. My lamp wasn't missing any crystals. I like that the crystals move if bumped. The only thing I can say is that I wanted mine to illuminate against the walls and it doesn't but maybe I need to try moving it around closer to the wall. I would recommend this lamp though, I'm very happy, and I love the price. I would upload pictures but I'm having phone issues. Also, in the main picture on Amazon, it shows the light bulb lighting up the whole lamp and it doesn't. The bulb lights up where the bulb is, not the rest of the crystals at least from the two bulbs I have tested out. However, you can get good lighting from this lamp. Thanks!

It is a very pretty accent lamp for bedside or living room. IMPORTANT: the interior is very sharp. Be careful of sharp edges to protect your hands and jewelry. I learned the hard way.Crystals have a plastic feel although they are pretty and are probably glass upon reinspection. A few extra crystals are included. A question was posted about quality. I accidently dropped it off my counter to a wood floor. A few crystals had to be very easily reattached. It was not damaged.It is pretty and not cheap looking. I would not use this unattended. I suggest a LOWER wattage light bulb as specified. Even a 35W LED equivalent was very hot at the base of the bulb. You could not tell through the lamp base.It is well packaged. Please bring the styrofoam to UPS for recycling.I took a star off due to sharpness of interior cutting my hand and damaging my black pearl ring.

I couldn’t find my original review to add my photo. As I said it throws a lot of light and looks gorgeous no matter what type of bulb is in it. I just love it!! Found original review with the wrong item. Here it is:what a pleasant surprise this little lamp is! I agree that if had been metal it would get very hot. I don't know how long it will last (looks-wise) but it can be replaced if necessary. I do expect to have it for a number of years. It throws a LOT of light. I had to put in a colored bulb so it wasn't so bright. I am using it as behind Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus set I have. I will make sure to find a place for it after Christmas because it's just beautiful the way it shines. I'll try to add a photo later. I am very pleased with this little lamp. I love the way the sparkle shines.

These are beautiful, light up beautiful. these were just smaller than what the picture makes them seem but they are great lamps and the charger port really works ! I’ve had them for a year now and no complaints still working great! The black bottom part is flappy but no one ever sees it it’s like a protective mat for your furniture. It’s reasonably priced for two lamps, the material of the lamp isn’t cheap or plastic like some people say and at the same time it’s a decorative item not a toy! It serves it’s purpose and it functions great. This is a good deal for your buck!

When using 60 watt LED bulbs (the max for this lamp) they are very bright and light up a dark room. The metal isn’t super heavy but it isn’t ultra flimsy either. They also came with extra crystal beads incase you lose any. I pinched mine down to make them more secure. Happy with my purchase!
