Captain Jules Everlasting Steampunk Flask

Quality of the product is great, leather is well tooled and the machining on the flask itself is clean. The gauge is cosmetic and lends itself to the steampunk vibe as do the ornamental rivets on the front. The knurling on the top of the flask is comfortable and adequate enough to provide grip when one's digits might be a little relaxed after imbibing. The slight curvature of the flask lends itself to to a comfortable fit in the pocket.The only negative and its not worth reducing a star over is the lack of a funnel. It's a shame that such a quality piece didn't come with a matching funnel to fill it with whatever wondrous liquids one may find themselves drinking.

The flask itself is sturdy and it fits onto a belt. The button opens so you can take the flask off for drinking. It's perfect for costumes. BUT the glass/plastic piece on the front popped off the very first time I showed it to someone. I guess I should have returned it but never got around to it. I attempted to superglue it and it came off again. If I have another occasion to wear it I will probably try to fix it again.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the stainless steel flask to be of good quality. I had expected poorer quality in the flask and was buying this for the holster. The holster too is fairly well made. Altogether worth the price, though not your super duper highest quality product.

I found this to be very good looking in person, definitely a good eye catcher. I used this in my Steampunk Captain Hook at Emerald City Comic Con this past weekend and got many comments specifically about the flask. However, as someone who does leather working, I found the "holster" to be substandard quality. It's ok, but if I had the time I would have made a new holster for it. As it turns out, the belt loop stitching is so poor that by the end of the 2nd day, it was only holding on by a single thread stitch, both top and bottom of the belt loop. I threw some rivets on it and it lasted the rest of the weekend, but this is not the greatest quality and durability. Very good product for the price, good visual impact, but cheap holster so be careful with it.

I was really excited about giving this to my boyfriend for his birthday. Unfortunately as soon as I took it out of the box it literally fell apart. The lens cap for the barometer wasn't even attached. I was very disappointed with this purchase. For all the money I spent on it I could have actually got something nice. I'm sending this back and getting a refund.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas to match his steam-punk outfit that he wears to the renaissance fair every year. He is always looking for accessories to go with his costume and this was a great addition. It has a nice heavy, good quality feel to it and is even better in person than in the picture. This makes a great flask for a steam-punk theme. It would also make a great decoration in your house or kitchen or wherever if that is your theme. It looks very old-timey and cool. Super cute. I really like this product!

I am delighted with this flask, especially since it has a leather 'holster' that allows me to wear it on a belt. The copper finish makes it unique and goes well with the usual steampunk colors.

It looks great. Makes a good costume piece. However it is not very durable as the chain broke within hours and other pieses as well.
