Shining wheat Black Leather Car Steering Wheel Cover for Ford Fusion Mondeo 2013 2014 EDGE 2015 2016

For some inexplicable reason the rubber on my steering wheel had begun to peel. I bought this and was very pleased. I think it is real leather but even it's not it looks and feels just like leather. It is strong and well made. Fits like a glove and looks factory when in place. You have to sow it in and if done right there is no edge visible. It has been many months now since I fitted it and it is still in great condition no danger at all of peeling. My only gripe is that for someone with minimal sowing skills it can be a challenge fitting this particularly with the steering wheel in place. But after a few hours of hard work I achieved it and at a tiny fraction of the cost and disruption of getting it professionally done so very pleased. Also the holes for the thread are pre-punched into the trim so it is pretty easy to know where to insert your needle. A couple of words of advice on installation. Be careful to follow the stitching pattern provided to get a nice neat and uniform finish. And the edges close to the spokes of the steering wheel are designed to be tucked under the wheel trim which can be gently lifted up with a plastic trim manoeuvring tool as you get with higher end dashcams. There are helpful extra areas of material at these trim points that can be used to pull the cover taut and then tucked out of site beneath the wheel trim for a truly professional looking job.

My steering wheel on FG 2016 degraded over time and become sticky. This kit fixed all problems for few euro... not easy to install, but the result is like a new...

Am Anfang habe ich aufgrund der Bilder gezweifelt, ob das Lenkrad dann nicht zu dick wird.. nun, man kann auch für 150 Euro einen Neubezug mit Lenkradtausch etc ausführen. Angebote gibt es.Zurück.. es ist zwar keine gute Anleitung dabei: daher ein paar Hinweise:- das doppelseitige Klebeband ist (wie immer) nervig. Damit muss man sich Zeit lassen. Unbedingt darauf achten, dass das Klebeband beim Abziehen sich nicht einrollt oder Kanten hat, das sieht man sonst später am Lenkrad..- zuerst wird die Innenseite mit dem Klebeband präpariert. Hier Tipp von mir: die noch nicht abgezogene Seite vorbereiten (also eine Ecke schon einmal anheben, damit das Abziehen dann gut klappt)- dann wird das Band aufgezogen und justiert.- jetzt kann man schon die ersten Kleber entfernen (unten) und dann beginnt das Nähen. Hier ist zu bemerken: Anfang und Ende durch Andrücken auf das Lenkrad gut prüfen. Justieren lässt sich später nichts mehr!- wie beschrieben nähen und die Ecken vorsichtig einschieben.Bei mir hat es wirklich gut geklappt. Es sieht aus wie neu und das Lenkrad liegt gut in der Hand. Mehr noch: das dickere Lenkrad empfinde ich als angenehmer und besser greifbar. Aber das könnte sehr subjektiv sein.Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung: gute Qualität, gute Passform, vollständiges Material und der Preis ist unschlagbar.Das einzige, was man braucht, ist Zeit, etwas Geschick und eine gute Beleuchtung.

Bardzo fajna alternatywa dla kosztownego obszywania kierownicy. Materiał dobrej jakości i dobrze skrojony. Choć nie wszędzie pasuje ale to może moje błędy ponieważ robiłem to pierwszy raz. Uważam że to naprawdę fajny produkt i dla sprawnej ręki można naprawdę ładnie i tanio odświeżyć koło kierownicy. Polecam.

Das Material macht soweit einen guten Eindruck. Als Anleitung sollte man sich YouTube zur Hilfe nehmen.Bei mir ist das set leider in der Tonne gelandet, da ich nach langem stopfen nicht mehr wusste, wohin mit dem ganzen Stoff…die Abdeckung beim Ford Mondeo sind doch straffer als gedacht und bieten wenig Spielraum für so viel überschüssiges Material, welches ja irgendwohin muss. Hab irgendwann aufgegeben und werde das Geld lieber in ein neues Lenkrad investieren bzw neu beziehen lassen. Die Klebereste, welche ich bis dahin schon aufgeklebt hatte, gingen extrem schwer wieder vom Lenkrad ab, obwohl sie frisch geklebt wurden. Andere haben es scheinbar hinbekommen, deswegen scheint es nicht unmöglich zu sein, aber für mich ist das nichts.
