I am an adult who, if I were currently a child, would probably have been diagnosed with a sensory processing issue. I had wanted to try one of these blankets for ages but waited until I found a good deal on one. Shortly after starting to use the blanket every night, this constant feeling of needing a hug that I have had since I was small went away. I tried not using it again and the feeling returned. I am really happy with my purchase.

I have been through rough 2019 and 2020 isn't any better. I lost my husband last spring, and then by October I learned I had an ameloblastoma growing inside by jaw devouring the bone. Fortunately it wasn't cancerous and was removed, but you can image with those traumas, pain from my jaw healing and now the virus, I don't sleep well. I got this because I recalled how my grandmother would pile on covers and duvets during winter (English house are not known for their massive heating systems...lol) until I felt like I was weight down. I hoped the weighted blanket would give that same feel. Boy does it. I bought the package in, but put it aside. Then, last night when I was tossing and turning like mad, I recalled the blanket. I put it on the bed and zowie! I was asleep in a matter of minutes. I didn't wake up a dozen times. No nightmares. I slept for a full night's sleep. It's well made. The bead pockets keep it evenly spread. You stay warm, yet the bedding stays cool so you don't get the overheating that causes me to kick back the blankets. I ordered the Queen size, but it covers my California King Size bed completely. And don't forget the price. This one is 1/4 the price of the others I was looking at. So very pleased with this item. One of the biggest pluses -- no pain all night. I have arthritis in both legs, my healing jaw and ouchies from two bad falls. Yet, once I was snug under this blanket the pain just receded.

This blanket is VERY well constructed. After sleeping under it 3 nights I noticed the arthritic pains in shoulder, hip & knee joints were GONE!! However I did return the blanket because it was too heavy for me to handle--had a hard time making the bed (Could hardly lift the blanket) and could not turn over in the bed with the blanket on top of me. (I'm 85 yrs old with diminished strength in my arms, hands & shoulders). The 1st night after I slept under my regular blanket, I awoke to find pain in my knees, shoulder & lower back... Even tho the 20 lb blanket was recommended based on my body weight, I am thinking I may try a 15 lb blanket to see if it will benefit arthritic pains in my joints.

Very high quality product. I have only used it for 2 nights and my only problem is not wanting to get out of bed. In mid sleep my wife asked me how I liked it and my only response was it felt like an all night, continuous, full body hug. What a great feeling.

I slept with this blanket for a week and I think I like it! Wish I had gotten the 15 lb instead of 20, but can't imagine it makes "that much" difference. Got the Queen because the Full wasn't available. It's heavy and a bit difficult to maneuver turning over, but worth it for the benefits. Delivery was perfect

I had a uterine tumor removed some years ago that shot me right into menopause. Ever since I began experiencing menopause I began suffering from extreme insomnia. It takes me 2-3 hours to fall asleep. I only sleep one to two hours at a time. I'm exhausted all day.My first night using this I fell asleep within half an hour & slept for the next 4 hours. I only wish it was slightly longer. I have a queen bed & it barely covers it.

La primera impresión al recibir la cobija y sacarla de la caja, es su peso.. casi 10 Kg es bastante, y sorprende. Se ve y se siente de muy buena calidad y con muy buen acabado. El material externo es de algodón, de un color plomo, ligeramente azulado, muy agradable y elegante. Mide 2.03 x 1.52 mts. No obstante su peso, al extenderla es bastante delgada.. escasamente unos 5 mm de grosor. El algodón se siente fresco y suave al tacto.Ya en cama, al no tener ninguna experiencia previa con una manta de este tipo, lo que más impresiona es su peso. Me pareció al sentirla al principio que el pesó sería demasiado incómodo y posiblemente sofocante durante la noche, y que seguramente también produciría demasiado calor. Fue de gran sorpresa descubrir todo lo contrario, mi cuerpo se acostumbró en muy corto plazo al peso, y muy pronto me sentí rodeado de una sensación cálida y sumamente relajante. El material como que te recoge y abraza en su peso de una manera muy confortante. También me sorprendió que la manta es mucho más fresca de lo imaginado, pienso que se debe tanto al algodón como a las propiedades térmicas de las perlitas de vidrio que lleva, muy bien distribuidas en su interior.Basta decir que pasé una noche, ahora sí que de perlas, y fue un agazajo en la madrugada pasar un tiempo muy relajado y placentero en brazos de esta cobija tan singular y reconfortante. Quedo en grata espera de todas las noches y madrugadas por venir.

Me enamore de esta cobija, es muy fresca y nunca había usado cobijas con peso, escogí esta porque sentía que otras de 6kg no serían suficiente y está tiene 9 kilos (yo peso 75 kg).Esta muy bien hecha, se sienten buenos materiales y buena costura. Al recibirla quede impactado por el peso porque se siente como si fuera mucho pero una vez que te tapas con ella no se siente. Mi experiencia al dormir fue que me levante menos ya que sufro de despertarme a mitad de la noche y con las cobijas tiradas o destapado, con esta me fue perfecto y siento que dormí mejor.Estoy muy feliz y la recomiendo ampliamente.

Compré 2 piezas en mi familia, tenía problemas para dormir completamente, me despertaba por segundos, la colcha es ligera para arrastrar y pesada para dormir, es el abrazo de un sueño Relajante y profundo, mido mi sueño con el reloj diariamente y cambio significativamente en 1 semana de Testeo, estoy encantada, recomiendo ponerle una funda de algodón extra, otro beneficio es que mantiene una buena temperatura e incluso con mucho frío no necesitas más que tu colcha para dormir. Excelente producto. Actualizo en un par de semanas que haga lavado en seco. Por lo pronto super compra!
