I sharpen my knives with a wetstone every quarter or so, so my knives are usually pretty sharp. But it's nice to have this little guy in the counter to do a quick swipe every once and a while if my blades feel a little dull but I'm not up to doing a full sharpening. Plus he sits on my counter with some other decorative animals so he doesn't look out of place.

This product is definitely a cute kitchen accessory that fits easily between my knife block and microwave on the counter top. The rhinoceros design is super cute so I feel no obligation to hide it in a drawer. I appreciate the whimsy this product brings to my kitchen.This product is obviously more form than function. I like it a lot, and it definitely tears through the dull edges of my knives, but it's pretty small and takes a lot of elbow grease to sharpen a knife back down to its razor edge. The size is a major long term concern for me. There isn't a lot of surface area to grip. As the groove inside ages I'm worried one knick could lead to a sliced finger.Still happy I bought this as a decorative and creative kitchen accessory, but it should be no surprise that there are similar products on the market that would solve the same problem more efficiently.

This knife sharpener is awesome, it works way more effectively than I anticipated because it's also so cute as a décor piece.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. This is perfect for sharpening knives. It is quite small, so can fit just about anywhere. It is super easy to use and did a great job sharpening our knives!
