At first my machine did not accept the thread. But once I changed the tension settings correctly, the thread worked beautifully. Now this thread is not for every home machine. It will work with the Juki TL-2000 mechanical machine. For your own home machine, unless you have an industrial model, check your manual first to see if your machine will accept this heavy weight thread, which is really designed more for industrial machines. I could not get this thread to work on the Juki HZL DX5 electronic sewing machine.

Nice quality thread. Bought for chair cushion covers and has done great so far. Kept forgetting it was heavier thread and kept trying to break it with my hands (e.g. trying to pull basting out that was stuck) and the stuff would not break. I guess that's the point. Lol

Using for hand sewing denim repairs. It will probably outlast the fabric.

I am a professional automotive marine upholsterer had a motorcycle seat I used it on for decorative stitch but would never trust it to hold seams together just my opinion

This string doesn't break. WOW. This string would sew up shoes and anything else in your house that would be considered heavy duty...this string should be called heavy duty thread that doesn't ever break. Scissors definitely needed to cut this thread. Pleased

Used for boat canvas repair on an industrial machine. Easy to use and very strong

Used this thread for shibori dying. It slipped through the fabric very nicely, but it didn't stay knotted very well. It was strong enough for the pressure of Shibori.

Ideal for sewing on Juki industrial sewing machine, a wide variety of colours

I use this thread to sew in hair extensions is very strong and sturdy. I would highly recommend this product. Give it a 10 out of 10
