One leaked
I really like these pens. Only issue is that one leaked all over my project the first time I used it. The colors aren’t very vivid, but that makes them great for backgrounds and setting a soft mood.

bought these gunning for a thinner alternative to pentel's pocket brush pen - which they are, though not by much, and waterproof, if not quite on the same level of quality bristle- or ink-wise. i find myself going slower with these pens, unless i want a streakier drybrush effect. not that they are below standard - in fact, they go above and beyond! only minor signs of wear and dryness after about 4 months of use, and god knows i'm more careless than your average art student. they have a certain firmness to them that makes their lines less variable than my pentel pen; with these pens, you're able to get more control over thinner lines, but lose some of the versatility, volatility, and glide i've come to appreciate in the pentel.they're devastatingly attractive in design. and I love that I'm getting 4 additional shades other than black for lining, as it lets me line with consideration to color and tone. also: absolutely amazing price-wise. can't believe they aren't more popular.you can even use these in a manner similar to kuretake's water-soluble brush pens - dilute with water and apply like watercolor. the results are a little crude though. addendum: my father, a fairly well-established chinese calligrapher, was modestly impressed with their lettering ability.alas, i lost my first set due to some ill-advised on-location sketching on a city bus, but i have purchased one again, soon to arrive.

Not sure these are 5 star yet
The color is subtle (which I expected) and these do have a very fine point. However the ink is not as juicy when I'm trying to do a wider line - it often skips. So not sure about these yet if I would repurchased them esp for the price. I like them though.

Great colour palette
I bought these with the mistaken assumption that they are water-soluble. However, my first attempt with watercolours quickly corrected that notion. You can see in the image where the Mizuasagi failed to blend under the onslaught of water. However, they still work well in combination with water colour, providing beautiful subtle hues, for example the brown in the eyes is Hiwadairo. Gives a great range of pen thicknesses, making it suitable for both fine lines and concentrated washes. Definitely more cost effective to buy in the set of 5 rather than trying to buy each colour separately.

Great brush pens for sketching.
Thin tips, nice colors. Good alternatives to something like the pentel pocket brush pen. With the thin tips you won't be able to go as thick, makes it much easier to use compared to any other bristle brush pens I own.Ink flows like a pentel color brush pen or an akashiya bamboo body, so don't expect fast movement like the pentel pocket can achieve. My girlfriend thought it was running out of ink till I told her to slow down.

Great pen with actual bristled brush tips
Pretty much what i was looking for. I love to draw with a brush tip. I use a pentel aquash filled with sumi ink to draw, sketch, and practice calligraphy, but wanted some other colors without having to buy a bunch of those and fill them myself. I really like the fine tips on them, but wish they were just a little stiffer. Unlike most other "brush pens" with "brush tips," these actually have bristled brush tips, and not the solid felt-type points.

Very nice brush marker
Very nice brush marker, good for quick little sketches or to line a drawing with. I like to keep this in my pencil case since it offers a variations of lines for these markers and they come in nice colors as well, definitely worth a try.
