I was able to thread this holder onto my mic stand with no problem and it fits nice and tight. The foam is very thick and holds both my wireless and wired mics securely without making any sound as they're put back in while turned on. Overall build quality seems good, but it's hard to tell how durable it is until I've had it for at least six months to a year.

Please note: This is only the top; the stand is NOT INCLUDED! However, It’s pretty sturdy but keep in mind it’s only the top, you will still need a stand to make it work.

Works well with our wireless Shure SLX microphones. Ours is used on the platform at church. It is mounted on an old mic stand that had long lost the mic clip and would no longer hold vertical adjustment, but it’s just the right height for a mic holder. We leave the mics on during church service, and the foam covering of the holder helps make the mics make practically no sound when the they are put back in the holder. Great!

I am so glad I found this, my mics used to lay on the table or in the box now I can have them stay out and be ready for karaoke. Make sure you order the stand to go with this.

I do a lot of karaoke nights. I use this little guy to hang cordless mics. very handy. It stands right next to the TV stand. No education/instructions needed for singers what to do after the song. A very handy appliance to have if you do a show that has multiple singers coming on and off the stage every 5-10 minutes.
