I got this to saddle stitch 15 page booklets and it works like a charm. I have never had it misfeed or not fully staple. The only problem is that the channel that rests between rest and the desk is not deep enough to fully allow a full size page without bowing, which makes it a little more difficult to ensure everything is properly aligned.

A Dinosaur of a saddle stapler, but by-golly it staples like a charm!
This puppy will likely still function after the next two world wars. It's solidly built, operates smoothly and has that wonderful cold-war-era appearance that I love in my office equipment. No frills, but it gets the job done.
