Light weight
This wheelchair looks good and also very easy to assemble, it has great features for Folding and Unfolding and is really lightweight but sturdy due to it's very modern design, I go it for someone else and they are so pleased with it. as they said it looks great

Robust
Having bought 2 wheelchairs in the last two years for my wife which only lasted a year each, I wanted something more robust with a smoother ride for her whilst being lightweight. After extensive research, I decided to get the Excel G-Explorer All Terrain. We’ve only had the Excel G for a month but I can honestly say that it has great manoeuvrability and easy to handle for me as well as being a more comfortable ride for my wife.

Great Wheelchair!
I needed the chair quickly and it arrived in 2 days which is very good. I have received in the post all the warranty documents, which I wasn't expecting but is certainly a good plus point. I've seen this chair in the shops at £500, ok you can claim the VAT back but why go to all the hassle when you can get it here for almost half that and no need to go through the arduous process of claiming VAT relief.Re the chair: Firstly, I love it! Only been able to use for short time periods as at the moment my back is too painful to allow me to sit for long. However, the seat is comfortable and comes with detachable velcro cushions for the seat and back rest for extra comfort and support. The chair is very easy to self propel with these large wheels, but ensure you pump them up to the appropriate pressure. A few of the moving parts are adjustable e.g. the arm rests which is a great feature, as in my case, I need to use these to rest my arms on and reduce the pressure on my back and being able to easily adjust these is essential. The handles fold down, again useful. Lifting in/out of the car is easier than my old wheelchair as this one is lighter. Pocket on the back of the seat, also useful. The only complaint I have (hence 4 stars) is the foot rests. These are not adjustable and difficult to attach to the frame, they are held in place with a "snap-on" plastic clip which I suspect could break after constant use. I therefore will not remove these which makes storage and loading into the car more difficult (they do fold away as other wheelchairs). Shame really as overall the wheelchair is great and most importantly so much better looking than the outdated models that are commonly available.

Not safe on uneven ground
I had great expectations for this wheelchair, but Im so disappointed with it!! It is easy to fold, lightweight, but, although it is perfectly comfortable on a flat surface, it is NOT when it encounters cracked pavements, grass, tree roots. In fact there have been times when I have been so thankful that I had fastened the belt, or I would have been catapulted out at great speed when we came across a cracked paving stone!! I have now tried twice to get in touch with the supplier via their website to ask if there is any way to remedy these problems, but have had no reply both times. I am not a new wheelchair user, but my husband and I thought it would be great to have an all-terrain chair---this is not it.!!!! Anyone got any tips to improve my experience?

There is no brake!
This is a good wheelchair, but, unbelievably, there is no brake that the person pushing it can use. So it is really dangerous going down steep hills. Given that I bought it to go on rough terrain, that makes this a poor purchase. Technically there is a brake, but it is useless except to stop the wheelchair compeletely, and it can only be operated by the person in the chair. In addition, the wheelchair is quite good on rough ground but not excellent as the front wheels are pretty small and can be stopped by small kerbs.

Not bad chair with minor issues
The Good:It came mostly built, only requiring the foot rests and seat/back padding put on with the velcro attached added to it.Very easy to fold and remove the wheels for transport. So far not needing any extra padding for the seat but I haven't had it long. The bad:Fitting and adjusting the foot rests are a bit of a hassle, requires a bit of BFI and a light hammer/mallet to get it on the pillar for it. The adjustment has 3 different holes you need to line up so it can be locked off once adjusted. If you need to move the foot rests out of the way they fold back outside the wheels making the chair at least 4 inches wider per foot rest, so doors that are only just wide enough no longer are.
