I bought this hat for two reasons. First I drive an open car and second I am taking medication which makes my skin very sun sensitive and hair is rather thin. For driving I have been wearing baseball caps but find the peak can flutter and pull the hat off at speed so thought I would try this.So far very pleased with it. It fits well and seems to come down lower on the head than baseball caps so has shown no sign of coming off in the car. It's lightweight and comfortable and as well as keeping the sun at bay is also quite cool to wear. In fact my wife has now bought one for in the car to stop her hair blowing as she has found the same problem with baseball caps.The only downside is that my teenage granddaughter is unimpressed with the look and has asked me not to wear it when I am with her. As others have said the shape is funny, it doesnt have that rounded curve at the back, its more like a ninety degree angle. Also the so-called adjusters are buttoned onto the hat and you can adust maybe 1 cm tighter.Was irrelevant for me anyway as its way too small. I dont know who measured these hats but mine was 51-52 cm at most not the 57cm claimed.And so with those two reasons im returning my hat.

With my 59 cm circumference head this fits the bill. I like riding about on an all-terrain bike in good weather and this meshed flat cap helps to keep off the worst excesses of the sun from my balding head whilst preventing it from getting too sweaty too. I have a grey one and another in dark brown to coordinate with whatever clobber I'm wearing at the time. I am getting on in age and was worried that I might be too old to wear one of these 'duck-bill' flat caps but they have no fashion labelling or logos screaming out at the world from them to make the over 60's feel out of place, so even older people that remain active can get away with wearing one without appearing to be suffering from some sort of mid-life crisis also.Eamonn

Seriously, this really is the best flat cap I've ever bought! Unlike cloth and cotton caps, it doesn't crease as easily and has a smoother finish. Fits perfectly and sits nicely above the ears without being too wide or long at the sides. The side straps allow you to tighten the cap for a very comfortable fit. Will definitely be buying more of these.

As I am now getting a bit older but I do not race pigeons I needed a hat for when I'm out and about and also to stop sunburn, on the top of my head, the VOBOOM Men Breathable mesh Summer hat Newsboy Beret Ivy Cap Cabbie Flat Cap does a first class job of keeping my head from burning and looks good too.

I've got to say I've been impressed by the stuff from Voboom so far (4 purchases). Design & execution is great.Adjustable fitment means it should be comfy for most heads. The adjustment buckle works easily after opening the popper button.I've got to say I'm really happy I don't have to wear a baseball hat this summer to protect my bald head. I get a cooling breeze with this design!

Bought this hat for a trip to Spain and really glad I did. It's stylish, keeps the sun out of your eyes and off your head, and doesn't overheat your head.

My partner wears it in the summer, his bald head is cool and not burnt so I got him one in grey for work he works on the roof and one in white for casual wear.

The hat fit perfectly without adjustment. So yes order the hat if your hat size is at least a 71/4. The delivery was within the stated time frame. The top of the hat is more see through than I expected. There's a visible line across the top of the hat where the brim ends (which is not see through) and then the top of the hat which is very see through. Not sure if I'm going to get sufficient sun protection this summer playing golf, but for the price is a good looking hat.
