Prepac Narrow Cabinet Media Storage, 13" Wide, Black

Exceeded expectations for the price.

This is for the Slim Multimedia Tower (the narrow, single column, floor standing model). Jut put it together. It's decent enough! But it does look small on 1st impression, really small. But it is a nice clean look. Since it wasn't clearly stated for DVDs only -- It holds 14 DVDs per shelf, using the common DVD case that most single DVDs come in. And 5 shelf's worth. If you start from the bottom, there's a remaining few inches for the top shelf. If they had just made 3 inches taller, it could have done another row of DVDs. Just 3 inches! And it might have looked more natural as a tall thin tower. But on that last shelf, you can lay the DVDs sideways pretty nicely at least. It came with 7 shelves. The assembly was not idiot proof, but not difficult either. It required a phillips screw driver, and a hammer to tack in the nails for the back panel. The assembly sheet did not clearly mark the top and bottom for the side panels, which required some thought to figure out. It came with very small plastic feet that you nail into the bottom, which I didn't like. I picked up some stick-on felt pads from the hardware store for the feet. (I'm on hardwood floor.) But everything had a nice quality fit to it. I just wish it were 3 inches taller!

The multimedia tower was easy enough to assemble and fit together well. The tower is functional for the storage of CDs, DVDs, cassette tapes, etc., but is easily tipped over if not placed against a wall or in a corner. The tower should be anchored to the wall if children are present. The unit I received had a few scrapes to the black finish which were easily covered using a black sharpie. Overall, I consider the slim multimedia tower to be worth its relatively low cost.

This is just what I needed. It was very easy to put together for a 72 year old lady too!

Returned item. Parts and assembly process substandard.

Unit comes unassembled, but pieces were loose and moving throughout the box. Pretty easy to assemble. I like that the shelves are adjustable and there is a good number of them. Sturdy when on a wall. Unit came with lots of "scratches" (missing paint), unfortunately, on the side that everyone sees. Didnt have time to return as I needed it right away due to a recent move.

I was very satisfied with the cd organizers . They ( I purchased two ) were exactly as pictured on the website and were very easy to assemble. Bottom line , they look great and are solidly constructed.

Impressed by the quality of the material. Easy to assemble and sturdy when in use because of the nice wide base. I use it for my cd's and I am ordering a second one for my DVD's. Other folks have complained about the backboard being split but mine arrived intact....good packaging..

Found this tower to be quite easy to assemble. Fits many DVDs, including multi sets.
