We did stick with the 3x and just over lap the tabs. We like the tabs being a long strip rather than two smaller taps like others. They are absorbent but we still often add another pad to be safer. The sides and where the long tab is located are very very stretchy. This helps alot especially when someone is helping to get them on another person. However the stretchy also allows the sides to stretch and sometimes loosen. My opinion is stretch is a bit too generous. The added plastic even tho it has no padding, but extends past the top of the diaper does helps extend the protected area. Thank you ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stay dry all day & night. *by A***S on December 3, 2015* We have tried probably every brand of incontinence protection on the market, and these Tena briefs have been the best of all. My disabled brother drinks approximately 64 - 72 oz of water a day so, needless to say, he needs extra strength protection, especially overnight. These Tena briefs hold an amazing amount of liquid. Previously, we had to change his briefs upwards of five times daily, including his clothing and the protective pads we place on his recliner. The super stretch briefs fit well and are easy to adjust, and because they hold so much liquid, he only needs changing about two to three times daily. His clothing and the protective pads stay dry throughout the day now, and he no longer wakes in the morning drenched up to his neck. In fact, unless he drinks well beyond the recommended amount of liquid, he rarely needs immediate changing first thing in the morning now, which means he has extra time to really wake up and get going. My only complaint is that two bags come in a case. We could probably hold our re-orders off by another two to three weeks if the case came with three bags instead. I cannot exaggerate and state that he ALWAYS remains dry because, as I said above, if he consumes far more than his usual amount of liquid, he will soak through his briefs and onto his clothes, though that is a rarity.
