after Bronze Horseman such a letdown
I loved Bronze Horseman so ran out an bought all other books written by same author -- just no where near the same -- too long and too depressing. And don't get me wrong, I love long GOOD books -- Bronze Horseman could be triple and I'd have loved it!

Lily by Paullina Simons
I started to read this book and thought...I've read this ! A reference to "The Girl in Times Square' gave me the clue and so looked at my books only to find I already had the book, under the title of, "The Girl in Times Square"A bit disappointing, but the book is great. I love all of her books they are so well written, but what I do not understand ...is why was the title changed

Lily (or The Girl in Times Square)
Unfortunately I had already read it as it went under the name The Girl in Times Square here in Australia. She is a great writer and it was a great read.

I am very disappointed; this is The Girl In Times Square published under a different name! I loved it the first time I read it but certainly did not expect to get it again.

MUST READ!
Paullina Simons is my favorite author and Lily lives up to my high expectations of her. Lily just sucks you in and you won't be able to put it down. It's the perfect mix of mystery and romance. I recommend reading Red Leaves first. They are not part of a series, but part of the twist in Red Leaves is given away in Lily. With this amazing author you will want to read everything she writes!

One of the worst books........................ever
Having read "Tully" several years ago, I was eager to read another book by the same author. What a disappointment. The dialog was stilted, the language overwrought, but the worst thing was the numerous [over the top] story lines. The missing roomate, the life threatening illness of the title character, the affair of Lily's politician brother with aforesaid roomate, Lily's involvement with the age innapropriate, alcoholic, emotionally withholding detective, the Holocaust backstory, the peyote burn out fringe group.....................the mind boggles. All these story lines, none fully realized, all crammed into one unspeakably bad book. I read a library copy...............hopefully it is out of print!
