havit Cooling Pad RGB 15.6-17" Laptop Cooler with 3 Quiet Fans and Touch Control, Pure Metal Panel Portable Cooling Stand (F2073, Blue)

I'm not one for reviews, so here goes. Unpacked this cooler ist thing i noticed was everything oozed of quality. Smooth lines and looks solid.I gave it a test run on my table. Plugged usb in. On the front there is a button in the middle front. This cycles all the different colour options, including random changing and lights off.On the back central is a roller type switch which adjusts the speed of the 3 fans. (Fans can be left off)The rear l/r underneath are the two legs that clip down, these also slide forward to give a medium height and angle.On the front underside there is what looks like a battery compartment. If you take this out it then locates on the front top to stop any movement of laptop etc. Although i did not notice any movement with the item not attached.As a bonus my laptop speakers are on the front near underside, I now realise i have far better sound as its not being muffled, as it is now raised.I would urge anyone thinking of a purchase to look very seriously at this piece of quality kit.The only thing i haven't yet done is give it a long run to check reliability.Looks good and does more than i could have hoped for.So conclusions is very good value for money .

My laptop is 17". The fans work very well, when I put my hand underneath it feels like a fridge under there. And it looks very cool. The LED's couldn't be nicer. However, my laptop barely notices the difference. If my laptop is running at a stable temperature, and I turn the fans on, Dragon Center doesn't pick up any difference in temperature.I use an MSI GP73 Leopard 8RE. I'm not sure if maybe the shell of the laptop restricts the fans from actually having an effect internally.please not, this product is NOT bad, it works EXACTLY as advertised, just beware of whether it will effect your laptop or not. Check the underside for vents/openings.

So I just received this so I can't comment on its longevity but it is so so lightweight I was shocked when I picked the box up! It feels pretty sturdy though and it is honestly RIDICULOUSLY quiet like the fans are quieter than the ones my laptop has. The colours are genuinely beautiful if you like a little pizazz on your cooling pad. I hope it lasts because honestly I'm super happy with it at first use and sight. The coolness it puts out is A LOT. You can feel it on your legs if you have it on your lap haha. Definitely would recommend! I looked at so so many cooling pads before I chose this one and I'm super happy with my choice!

This pad is huge and appears to be well built. Its USB powered and comes with an extra USB port so you aren't down a port at all. RGB lights have multiple different settings, and you can also choose fan speed (which also controls the red fan lights brightness)Annoyingly both the USB ports and fan speed dial are found in the back of the unit so you'll have to reach around if you need to change the fan speed. It comes with a braided USB cable which is quite nice. I'm not sure how effective this is but my laptop's own built-in fan hasn't turned up to max when the pad is on, so I guess it works. I've not used it under heavy load though.

The presentation of the box is great. It gave me some confidence that I bought something really great, but I'm not so convinced.The USB cable is braided which is quite good, and the stand is solid. There were no slips when tilted beyond the normal tilt level. It's a well thought design to keep your laptop in place even when moving it around.For the first week or so, I tested the fans for cooling. I found they were okay at best and also quiet. There just wasn't enough to make a huge difference when gaming. You're able to control the fan speed, and you can feel cool air underneath, so they do work. Laptop devices are difficult to cool down, so everyone will have a different experience. There's no doubt the fans are quality and work as promised.The lights brighten up the front of the stand, and are activated by a touch sensor. They have different colour modes also. Although mine make a high pitched noise similar to a tinnitus ringing sound. So I keep the lights off.The extra USB port works and this came in handy to charge my devices. So, all in, it's okay, for a stand and will be much better than using a flat surface.I hope my review was of help.

Gaming laptops are known to get hot and I mean hot. With this cooling pad it allowed my laptop to get proper airflow whilst also increasing the amount of air being pulled into the device with the additional fans below. However, this device is USB powered so be warned you lose a USB slot when in use. However, I found that after use this brought my laptop temps down by 6-8c which for a laptop is a big deal. I would reccomend possibly buying a cheaper alternative without RGB because all laptop cooling pads do essentially the same thing.

If your laptop gets warm this will be fine. However it made no significant difference on my laptop which gets extremely hot (90°C). The fans are also not positioned where they are needed (vents). You can get cheaper pads with more powerful fans. However build wise this pad felt sturdy and high quality, and the lights look nice if you care about that but definitely feels like a gimmick. It also is more visually appealing than some other pads. It didn't feel big enough for my laptop though.If your laptop has serious overheating then this will not help. You can't beat giving your fan vents a good clean. However if you're looking for something to stop your lap getting hot or to cool a warm (not hot) laptop this will probably be fine.

The fans look great in the red version and the RGB is really cool,with a few different options to choose from. The fans are quite with the smallest of noise. If you hover your hand over the fans and full power you can't raelly feel anything but if you put on top you can feel how cool they are.

I purchased this laptop cooling pad after seeing some concerning heat levels on my MSI laptop. I know there has been some skepticism online as to wither or not laptop cooling pads actually help or hinder, but it my case I found this laptop pad to be very effective. According to MSI Dragon Center and CoreTemp, my laptop would hit temperatures as high as 80 degrees Celsius while running Stellaris or Halo Infinite on high performance settings. After the addition of this cooling pad (with cooling pad set to max fan speed), those temperatures dropped below 70 degrees for Stellaris and around 72 degrees for Halo Infinite.The pad itself is lightweight, the fans move a good amount of air, and it has an adjustable angle as well as a clip for holding your laptop in place. Both the fans and the cooling pad itself are illuminated; the fans are permanently lit red but the base has a wide variety of different color options you can rotate through via a well-placed switch on the front. You can also use this switch to shut off all lights on the pad. Fan speed is controlled via a dial on the very real of the cooling pad. All in all, a worthy little accessory for a gamer or a high-end laptop user.

I have a "gaming" laptop with vents on the back. What I wanted:Quiet, heat-resistant, laptop pad with fans for added benefit (this laptop gets quite hot at the back center, but only affects performance in long sessions or when the vents are covered).This pad works great, fits my 17" laptop perfectly. It has some functions built-in for keeping the laptop in place, but there are 50,000 laptop pads of this exact ilk and price on Amazon. I just got this one for the size and price. I gave 4 stars in "For Gaming" simply because my laptop is designed for heat ventilation horizontally outwards unlike many other laptops with vents facing downwards but the fans seem pretty gentle overall (I have not explored ALL of the fan settings, so take this with a grain of salt). The cooling aspect of this was peripheral, but if this cooling pad is the difference between your laptop running well or not, then the issue is your laptop.I like this a lot. I don't like RGB, but because of the design, it is barely noticeable. In fact, I really like it on this, because it indicates that the pad is on. The fans are actually so quiet that I don't know it's on unless the RBG is peeking out.The USB is short and on the back-right hand side of the pad. This could be a problem if you have no USB ports on that side.This was 100% plug n play with no real installation. Plug in the USB and it works.Fan control is via a circular rear rotating switch. It sticks out about 1/4" so it's unassuming. I thought it was a wire at first.RGB control is via a front and center touch button. If you're particular about your RGB, this is going to bug you. If using a touchpad, you are likely going to touch the RGB buttons and change the color patterns, but for me, it's forgettable and sometimes I like accidentally touching the button and getting new colors. Like I said, I don't like RGB, so this is just a nice, unassuming aesthetic touch. The colors are behind thick plastic around the rim, so there's very little glare. The fans themselves are almost always covered by the laptop, so I never notice the RBG from the fans until I remove the laptop, in which case it's standard.I often game while laying down, so this is great for your lap.Construction quality is the only semi-negative factor. I wasn't expecting some crazy high-quality construction, but the thin plastic over the fans is flimsy. I don't think it will break on its own, but I heard the fan blades clicking when I squeezed the laptop pad. I wasn't testing anything, just moving it, so just be careful and it should last a while structurally. 4 stars for "Light Weight" for this reason.

Like another reviewer posted, mine arrived with one of the three fans DOA. After emailing their support team, They had a replacement in my hands in 3 business days. This one worked perfectly.One of my favourite bits of this cooler, trivial as it is, is the RGB strip. It matches the keyboard on my laptop SO well! It's reasonably quiet, and having the fan speed dial lets you dial in the volume (air and sound) to your liking.If I had to nitpick one thing, it's that the fan layout is backwards. Every laptop I have ever used has its cooling intakes at the top/back, near the screen hinge. So I've turned mine backwards - putting the two fans beneath the intakes on each side of my laptop. YMMV. Sadly it means the RGB strip is behind the laptop instead of front and centre ... up note, it puts the fan speed control right up front without awkwardly reaching behind your computer.While it isn't a magic bullet to instantly make a gaming laptop run 30 degrees cooler without spinning up the fans to max speed, it can make the difference between running at max fan speeds and high fan speeds.High points - looks nice, fits my 17.3" laptop very well, helps move air into the laptop chassis, quick response from Havit customer support.Low points - initial QC may need improvement. I'm not the only one with the dead fan issue on this product. Depending on your laptop's air intake layout, you may want to use this backwards to put two of the fans where they will do the most good.Would I recommend? I think so - with the fan location caveat. Some users may be better served by a different layout, with more fans along the top edge. (Like some of the 6 fan designs out there.)

Deze koeler werkt uitstekend voor mij laptop. Ik heb een HP ZBook 15 inch, en deze koeler past ook mooi bij mijn laptop.Ik heb deze gekocht omdat ik best wel veel bezig ben met mijn laptop, en deze ook wel er warm wordt tijdens mijn werkzaamheden. Koeler koelt zeer goed ben er daarom ook erg tevreden mee. de bouw van deze laptop koeler is mooi en stevig, en ook een punt is dat de laptop er ook niet van af glijd.
