Savane Men's Big & Tall Big Eco-Start Cargo Short

A nice fit. Slightly longer then I expected but still above the knee. Better material then they use in their new Eco Shorts w/ the cell phone pocket. Too bad they have stopped making the Eco shorts in 46" and larger. Whatever happened to making shorts out of Denim or Blue Jean material? Savane use to make the best denim shorts (the eco shorts w/ the cell phone pocket) then I assume to cut costs or to boost profits they started making the pockets smaller, then the crotch got shorter, then they eliminated the denim shorts all together They ruined the best thing they made. IMO

These shorts are OK but my husband does not like the fit. They are cut funny in the crotch area and don't fit well. He wears them occasionally but prefers other brands.

The elastic waste band and just above the knee fit has made these my favorite shorts for several years but the best thing about them is the pockets. The top pocket is deep enough to be secure but not so deep as to put weight movement too low on the thigh. Other brands put the tech pockets all the way to the knee creating a "flop-bump" annoyance when I walk. The Savane pockets are secure but stop well above the knee thereby avoiding that "flop - bump" action. Overall, my favorite shorts. I hope they keep making them in my size.

This is the fourth pair on this shorts. I like them, an recommend them to everyone. The only thing I don't like is the back pockets are a little big.

Good price and fit. Flexible waist quality material. Amazon has good price and selection.
