Orient Men's Chronograph Quartz Watch with Leather Strap FTT16005B0

I have learned more about Orient watches, and now understand that they make quality affordable time pieces. This was my first Orient watch, and I must say, I am impressed. So far, the watch is meeting or exceeding all the things I was looking for at this price point.First of all, it works. The screw down crown was easy to use, and fairly smooth. Setting the time and date is as straight forward as you could hope, with a quick date set feature that saves those multiple trips around the dial. The chrono function is easy to use and read, and works well with a satisfying sweep when you re set the time. The second hand hits the markers on the chapter ring. The chapter ring is aligned properly, and the bezel is aligned spot on. The bezel action is firm, feels nice, with little to no back play. The pushers are easy to activate, and I like the yellow accents around them.The look and feel of the watch are great for me. I have a 7 inch wrist, and the case size is pretty large, but not too big. On a smaller wrist, it may be a bit much. The minute and second hands have a thin yellow outline that I did not pick up on the pictures before I ordered it, and was happy to see that little touch. The indices are applied, and have a nice metal outline, nice but not outstanding. The Orient logo is not overly large, but it is there, and looks fine. The date window... well... it's small. Yeah, not much to say about that other than it is there, and it works, but it is pretty tiny.I have only two "complaints", and they are more observations and well... pretty much common for any watch at or near this price point...The strap...... it looks very nice, but it is pretty stiff. I hope it will soften up soon, or I will just replace it. No problem at all, but worth noting.Secondly... it looks like this watch will be hard to find. I do not see it currently on the Orient web site, and almost every vendor that I can find it on, is out of stock.To sum up, grab one if you can, if the one you get is like mine, you will be very happy.

Absolutely love this watch!!!! Its well made, the crown is screw down. The seconds hands stop right on the markers. I replaced the leather band with a metal one I had and it looks fantastic!!! The bezel is a bit hard to turn but It should loosen up.

Beautiful watch, absolutely love it! The battery was dead upon received but easily fixed.
