Small price. Good performance
It works as stated. Much easier to use with the hard to find software on a laptop, but still does the job. The Web Link stated on the box is incorrect. Here is the correct link. [...]

Saved my bacon - Helped us Prep for FCC and IC testing
I had a chance to compare this product with a $20K spectrum analyser during my product FCC and IC certification. The test engineer was astounded at the accuracy. Great value!

Good Budget RF Spectrum Analyzer
Pros: Crazy good battery life, very competitive price, additional functionality through software Cons: Scans are low resolution when done beyond 6-8 MHz, prone to artifacts and noise if you don't get an attenuator. The pros outweigh the cons if you are on a budget. If you have more money to spend, there's probably better out there.

RF explorer comes in many flavors and some of them are bare basic Budget and some of them are pricey
This one only covers from 270 MHz to 830 or so just below the 900 mghz band I needed one that goes from the HF range all the way up through two 1700 MHz then I can combine it with my Wi-Fi band radio and cover the whole spectrum. This is just if you wanted to do wireless mics in the UHF only region

Site monitoring for UAV flying
Seems to work well. I use this to scan flying sites for interference when operating RC aircraft.

Simple to use
I bought this to scan for existing RF when arriving to new locations (I use wireless mics in my industry). It's very lightweight, portable, and has many options to customize it to work the way you want. I recommend.

When you need to find what is in the area.... this does it
Quite simply when you are taking wireless microphones into a new venue, this helps give you a baseline of what frequencies are already in use. Allowing you to avoid them altogether and make your equipment sound as good as you want.

Many products from USA probably needs licensing, so maybe that is why I can't find the latest RF Explorer models for sale in Singapore.
