The garlic comes out the side when you squeeze it.

I would not recommend. Barely crushed the garlic and lost most out the sides.

Love this Elite Chef Garlic Press. I received this at a discounted price during a promotion for my honest and unbiased opinion. My opinion is wow what a great press! This is made with quality stainless steal and fits great in my hand. I like that its not tiny and flimsy. It makes pressing garlic so much easier. It comes with a plastic tube to peel the clove with. Just place it in the tube and roll it in the palm of your hand and out slides the peeled garlic. Awesome The garlic press itself comes apart to make it easy to clean. The little "basket" slides out when you are finished so it can be washed easily. We love garlic in everything so this is really handy to have in the kitchen.

This set is a great addition to my kitchen!I love to use garlic in my cooking, but the other garlic press that I had was a heavy, clunky two handed struggle - this set is way easier than my old one!The silicone sleeve makes shockingly quick work of peeling garlic. It also cleans up really quickly too!The garlic press is a nice, lightweight tool that allowed me to press the garlic with one hand!The tool is fairly compact too - only about 8 inches long. It can easily be stored in my kitchen tool drawer, counter top organizer, or even hung up.I did receive this product, at a discount, in exchange for my unbiased review.
