Easy to use and gives you surprisingly sharp knives. wont find much better for the price
I have used the stones to sharpen knives before so I was somewhat skeptical at first. I have to admit that this works great on my steak knives. The 3 stage sharpening allows for a consistently sharp blade every time, just run the blade length wise twice through each step and your done. Easy to use, I would recommend it to a friend. I only wish it also sharpened my serrated knives as well.

Good product, works well, easy to use
I recently purchased the knife sharpener and I have not had a single problem with it thus far. The thing is light but well built and does not slide around when you are sharpening the knife; you don't have to apply very much pressure to keep it from moving around, either. I tested the sharpener out with some of my kitchen knives and it worked pretty well without having to grind at the sharpener too long. .

Better than expected
I was pleasantly surprised. Instead of common V shaped carbide sharpening elements This little sharpener has what looks like small diamond wheels what allows you sharpen knife without tons of tiny metal particles. Sharpening was easy and took about 5 min including honing.Somebody was complaining about sharpening Wusthof chef's knife. He is clueless. You do not sharpen 150 $ knifes on 20 $ sharpener. The sharpening angle for this kind of knifes is totally different than for regular knifes so you need sharpener with adjustable angle - no wonder it could make your knife duller.I am buying another as a gift
