Our dog has been at war with the letterbox. We previously owned a cotton letterbox fixation which he easily ripped off. This letter box was easy to install and there has been no more chewed up mail. It looks lovely and is quite sturdy. However make sure it fits in your entry space when you open the door. It does take up quite a lot of room.

Delivery in this was quick. Arrived already assembled. I thought it had to slide over the whole letterbox and it wasn’t until I saw another seller showing how to install this properly that I figured it out. You have to unscrew your letter box, slot the cage behind it and tighten the screws again. I almost returned this due to poor instructions. I did a couple test runs posting things through my letter box and it does what it is supposed to do. I do t get post often but when I do the dog is quick to get it so hopefully this will save me a great deal of effort when the postman does come. Seems sturdy ish. It bangs against the door when you open and close it. But not much I can do bout that. It’s a good size so won’t have to worry about something not fitting in there. Time will tell!

I was concerned as our door has ‘ridges’ that this wouldn’t sit flush or just wouldn’t fit right. No such problem!This is so simple to install, just loosen the screws on the letterbox either side (there’s one screw each side inside the flap) and then slide the plate behind. Once it’s level just tighten the screws back up to keep in place.Since fitting this we’ve had no more incidents of Fitz happily chewing on the post or retrieving things without us noticing!So far we’ve had small parcels, letters and a chunky amazon a4 sleeve which has all fitted in perfectly with no issue. To retrieve the post you just lift the top which is hinged like a box.The only negative, which really isn’t, is the metal rattle sound you get sometimes when you shut the front door. Easily solved with a couple of rubber bits put on the top of the cage to provide a buffer.Great product, well worth the money and far better than a mail sack which we also considered

Product is going to be and look much bigger and if it happens that your door opens against the wall then good luck to you.I’ve returned mine back to the seller after he accepted my return, he confirmed that return was received and never refunded me back so if you buy from this seller and it happens to need refund good luck with that as well

A good size letter box protector. The powder coating finish is a bit poor but as its not outdoors, that's nit a major problem. Whilst it says that it's fitting free and just fits over your existing letterbox, you do need to loosen the letter box to allow it to slide behind and then tighten the letterbox again. Should keep my daughters dog from ravaging the post.

I'm always sceptical about the phrase "easy to install". But this couldn't have been simpler. I loosened the letter box screws a little (as another reviewer had said) and popped letter catcher over and tightened them again. Job done!

This is an extremely well made and robust product strong enough to withstand inquisitive dogs! Unfortunately I didn’t measure my letterbox before I ordered it and it was too big. Reluctantly I had to return it.

Vom ersten Eindruck her, dachte ich, dass funktioniert niemals. Denn es sah nicht so aus, als könne man diesen Briefkäfig an den Briefschlitz befestigen.Jedoch muss man einfach, wie schon in den anderen Rezensionen erwähnt, die Schiene des Käfigs zwischen Tür und Briefschlitz-Rahmen klemmen. Ich habe dabei ein Messer mit dünner Klinge verwendet, um erst einmal einen Spalt zu öffnen, sodass das erste Stückchen dieser hinteren Schiene vom Käfig einschiebbar und dann mit ein wenig Fummelei auch komplett hineinzuklemmen war. Zum Schluss nur noch richtig positionieren und alles sitzt stramm und knackig.Dieser kleine Aufwand hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
