PUMA Men's Astro Kick

No, I am not a shoe collector persay. Fashion was never in the forefront of my day. However, finding and wearing the right footwear has taken some priority. This is why I am loving this new pair. Purposely purchased to go with some great camo cargo pants. Comfortable, look great. A successful purchase that has out a smile on my face.

I've wanted a pair since I was a teenager (50 years ago!). I simply forgot about them. I looked them up on a whim and decided - better late than never. They are better looking and better made now. In a couple of months, I'm buying a green pair. Need has nothing to do with it. It's for nostalgia.One tip: they are a little tight, so I'd recommend purchasing a half-size larger than usual.

I really like the look of this shoe and the darker red color is very cool. I read mixed reviews about sizing up or not. In the end, I went with my regular size. The length of the shoe fits to size. But the toe box is rather narrow. While not uncomfortable, I just prefer a wider look and feel.

I recently looked at the current pair I'm wearing and decided it is time for a replacement. Went to the local mall where I bought them and unfortunately they no longer carried them. In a web search the Amazon link came up so I compared the price here to the similar but not same model at the mall and this beat the price by about $5.I was searching for the exact same shoe because I have had my old pair for 7 years. It's a timeless design and the comfort level (with Superset inserts) is out of this world. They have faded a bit because I didn't really take great care of them after a couple of years but I was sure to immediately waterproof and brush the lint off of the new ones when they arrived and after the first couple of wears. I hope that these last as long as the old pair.

I wish these came in a wider fit. PUMA tends to be too tight on wide feet. Very flexible sole. Could be a little stiffer and more cushion. I wear these for fashion only, and not for any kind of sport activity.

I purchased these as well as a pair of Liga, indoor soccer shoes for my daughter as a Christmas present. She really likes this pair almost as much as the Ligas, and think they’re very stylish. They look good, they fit her well, and she was quite surprised. I may even get a pair for myself the next time I need casual sneakers.
