Cirio Peeled Tomato, 800g

Great cheat for pasta sauces and other tomato based sauces. Takes a lot of work out and guarantees a good base - buying tomatoes in the market can be hit or miss sometimes. Great to stock in the pantry and it crushes quite easily in the pot with a heavy spoon.

Bought it for my pasta sauces and surprisingly found the tomatoes to be too fibrous. HAd to use a potato masher and even then didn't blend in well. Prefer the Mutti ones.

As expected, good quality product. Would have given more stars but for one badly dented can.

not blood red.they are sour in taste and not that sweet expected from tin tomatoes like sanmarzano.

Excellent product good for Indian and Italian dishes. Price is reasonable. Service excellent
