Fleas are hard to kill
First application didn't do anything. I then proceeded to treat the house, bathe the dog to de-flea her and waited to see. They say this stuff is waterproof. It says that you can only use this on your dog every 30 days. After treating my dog 4 times and the house 4 times in a 4 week period I applied another application and another house treatment and I think the fleas are gone. I spoke with the local pet store and she said that fleas are a major problem this year in Sonoma County and that most users of this product are applying it every 3 weeks instead of 4 week. I would buy this product again because I don't think the product is at fault but more likely the house and yard which I have treated multiple times. I live in an area where there are multiple dog owners, skunks and raccoons who carry fleas. So I am up against a high curve and must stay vigilant all the time. In years past fleas were not a problem and my dog never had fleas. I applied protection maybe twice a year with no indication that she might have fleas as a precaution. Now I have to buy a 6 pack and stay on top of it.

This product came in from supplier out of date!
Be careful when purchasing from this supplier. I purchased this product and applied it to my 2 shih tzus. I normally use Frontline Plus, but tried this instead since the main active ingredient is the same as Frontline. After 2 weeks, I noticed them scratching furiously. Sure enough, they had fleas. They have never had a problem with fleas, as I always treat them with a flea preventative. So, just out of curiosity, I checked the dates on boxes. They were code dates. so I called the manufacturer and they were indeed out of date.

kicking Butt and Taking Names
What an awesome product. We finally have found a reliable solution to these pesky fleas. We tried other over the counter and prescribed flea medicines with poor results. Our dogs, both poodle mixes, we in agony. I had enough and figured I would try this one as it worked so well for the cats. No problems with application, no oily mess and smell is nearly non-existent.Here in the Wilmington,NC area the fleas have become immune to so many other great products,I hope we get at least a few years with this one.

but there will still be like 2 visible fleas which is 2 too many for ...
Unfortunately, it doesn't work as well as its more expensive competitors. Most of the fleas will leave so the pups won't itch as much, but there will still be like 2 visible fleas which is 2 too many for me. I read online that many fleas are becoming resistant down here in Southeast Texas, so that might be the issue. Have to try other things.

Some boxes only have 3 doses.
One of my boxes only had 3 applications in it. The other had 6. I saw another review where someone else had the same thing happen to them. BEWARE! Some boxes have only half the advertised amount in them. Based on my findings, it seems to be random. I recorded a video of me unboxing the second order after finding the first box to only have 3 applications. The second box had the full 6.Here's the video:http://youtu.be/fXemcT6qKC4

He just had a trip to the vet and the vet even said that this kind is good for him and to keep using it
No fleas for my chihuahua and have been using this for almost a month. My dog seems to be having no reaction or side effects to the drops. No skin irritation at all and they work. The fleas have stayed away. He just had a trip to the vet and the vet even said that this kind is good for him and to keep using it. Great product.

Didn't work as well as the regular Sentry.
I called the customer service with the lot number and it was still good, not expired. The person I spoke to said that the topical flea remedies usually have a shelf life of about 5 years. I'm not sure why, but the regular Sentry Fiproguard works better for our dogs. I've been hearing that this is a terrible year for fleas so maybe that's why. We've been trying to compensate with the natural Sentry sprays in our house.
