These are the ones I tnd to buy and setup - cheap and reliable, and if you do end up having an issue, dropping itr or loosing it, its just over a tenner each, so.....Remember these come on test frequencies so you should really have them reprogrammed to frequencies you can use.However, these will be overpowered for PMR446 - so, again......there could be issues

Great little radios.
Great little devices. Bought to keep a car convoy in touch, range much better than expected especially being used ( by passengers) inside moving cars. Battery life is very good, I forgot to switch one off, and 48 hours later it surprised me by announcing “battery low” from inside my wardrobe!!
