Without Law 3

The pace of this series is slow as is passage of time in the book. Despite that and the relative ease in which the big battle at the end of the book is won it's a very enjoyable read. Lots of seeds are sow for potential threads for later books and some new characters introduced briefly whose presence may loom larger from later books. Another quality series from Eric Vall.My personal plea at the end of the review. Michael Scott Earle is one of my favorite authors. On his Facebook page he suggested his readers check out Planet Brokers by a new author named Eric Vall. I liked the story, it was not so awesome that it blew away any other book I've read but it was a good solid story, with a strong plot, interesting characters and quality writing. I've continued reading Eric's releases as well as Planet Brokers 2 and buy every new book he releases. Sadly the sales were poor compared to later books. As mentioned Eric Vall is a good enough author I buy all of his new releases but Planet Brokers still holds a special spot and I miss the series. My hope is that if enough people go back and buy the first two books in the series sales will get to a point where it will make sense to revive the series. I have no idea how many sales it will take to accomplish this. I'd guess the whole idea is akin to a hail mary pass but it might work and I figure at the worst I've steered some people toward a dead series that is still a good read.

So, book three picks right up where book 2 ended. The story is expanding and a much anticipated showdown with the area biker gang finally takes place.The story is solid for the most part, I tend to skip over the adult themes, I don’t feel that they add much to the storyline.Plus, I struggle with four women living together, sharing the same man, and everyone gets along great; truly high fantasy.The battle scene is well told and each character develops a little more, plus neighbors are discovered. Without Law 3 is fun, fast paced and entertaining.

I can't get enough of this series. I love how the characters use everyday objects in inventive ways. And their battle strategies and tactics make a lot of sense. I especially love how they made it so that the bikers had to go through town a certain way in order to ambush them. I also enjoy the survival aspects of the book. The final battle with the bikers was really well written. All in all, a great book and series.

There are no shades of grey in the books in this series I've read so far (1-5) and I'm just fine with that. This is a very different sort of setting from the usual Eric Vall offering, and I'm enjoying it immensely. The competent, confident MC is there from the start, but there's considerable character growth in the women who stayed behind for winter break as this book and its sequels pick up steam.

Surviving in an EMP apocalypse makes for an interesting challenge. Having to deal with deadbeat anarchist bikers hellbent on seeing the world burn isn't much better.But Tab and the girls have it under control.Another brilliant entry in Eric Valls without Law series, with action, adventure and fun.Plus a whole lot of bullets.Looking forward to seeing what challenges await next!

Another good read by Eric Vail, he keeps the plot moving and continues the character development. Tav, Rolli and the girls draw you in to watch their development over the series. This episode with the culmination of their training and preparation facing down the biker gang. Do yourself a favor and start the series from book one of you haven't done so yet. If you have, enjoy book 3.

It was an ok story, but it's clearthat Eric neede to have a sex scene fairly often or his core audience will evaporate. There's only so many ways to write a sex scene that's even partially believeable, and Eric is starting to repeat himself (not surprising, given the number of books he's authored).

This book was really good and action packed. I know there will be another group to take the gangs place. I also know that Tav and the women will take care of everything again when the time comes. Eric is a very brilliant writer. Read his books and I think you will love them.
