LUCID Mattress Zippered Encasement Pillow Protector-Waterproof Protection, Queen, White

I purchased this as a gift for my bonus daughter along with other items for her dorm. She was worried about keeping her mattress topper in place, and like other girls who are menstruation-heavy overnight, unintentional leakage. It’s bad enough when it might happen at home, but on a mattress that someone else will eventually be sleeping on I understand the concern and said about finding her some thing that was comfortable and waterproof, without looking like it was for an eight year old’s bed. This and casement absolutely does the trick. It fit comfortably over her twin XL door mattress with a 3 inch topper. Mattress is completely encased, so no worries. The waterproof aspect hasn’t been tested yet and I’ll update if there are any issues, but based on the quality of the item, I don’t believe there will be.

This protector fits my mattress perfectly and is quite durable. I’ve been using it for several months now, and I don’t have any complaints. The only thing to be aware of is it might create a large air pocket inside the protector, so be sure to “flesh out” the material to force the air out before zipping it around your mattress.

I bought one of these in 2017 and after 6 years, it has no stains, rips, pilling, or any other noticeable damage! I am shocked! I loved it so much that I bought two more; one for a second bed and another for my mom who just moved into a new house.

It does the job and it’s comfortable and easy to install

the encasement is not as tight as i would’ve liked it to be. it’s difficult to also put a sheet overtop without having it slide off. however, it is soft. noise could also be less but i suppose that’s the trade off for having it be waterproof

Stays in place nicely and worked just as it should’ve. We didn’t plan it this way but our dog had 9 puppies on our bed. Thankfully I had JUST bought and put this on our bed. Nothing leaked through. This cover was easy to wash and although it stained, the stains came out better than on our sheets that we had to throw away. I’ve washed this cover every week for 3 months and it still looks and fits nice. It also stays in place nicely. We have a deep mattress AND a gel foam topper and it STILL fits. The total of the mattress is 15” in and it probably go up to 16”.

Great pillow protector, but it does have just a tiny bit of "crinkle" sound. Totally manageable for the vast majority of people. For super light sleepers it may be an issue.

Tiene una forma extraña para poder colocarlo en el colchón, pero en general cumple su función.
