We needed a collection place for the remnants of our pooper scooper . . . this tough, easy to handle, little gem is just the right size and capacity for a week's worth of poo from our four dogs. Bag it up and toss it in the trash with no mess and no fuss. Wonderful product.

I must admit I was apprehensive about buying a lid on its own. No trash can, just a lid. But boy I am happy with this lid. It is a top notch lid and really does just about everything I could have dreamed of. I can only imagine what the accompanying can is like. I may purchase one soon. Good luck with lids and life.

it's hard to review a garbage can lid, and even harder to give it 5 stars, although it might well deserve all 5. it matches my garbage can and locks on, and keeps it securely closed, which is why i got a garbage can with a lid. the can and lid seem to be well made, and they are a decent value for the cost--they seem like they'll last, and the small can and lid were reasonably priced. that's pretty much all there is to say. oh, the various nooks and crannies in the lid are a bit annoying--just more places for gunk to get caught. oh, and this isn't as convenient as a step-open garbage can, and often requires 2 hands to get the lid off because it locks, but i went with this one because there aren't any parts to break, and i wanted to keep any creepy crawlies well out of it.

It has a real nice tight fit. Just right for outdoors.
