Smelled a little funky out of the package aired outside overnight and it’s not noticeable nowThe hooks are on the smaller side BUT they Dont fall off like the ones from the bike companies. Two separate companies I e have the issue.Works great with a carabiner in odd angles tooGood purchase I’m about to order a second set for my partners bike

I ride about 30 miles to work, mostly at highway speeds. It was a pain loading and unloading my saddlebags with a laptop and other work stuff. So I tried these out to strap my backpack with too much crap in it to the pillion seat. The first few rides I kept feeling back to make sure the backpack was still there, but in about 30 trips so far, the bag doesn't move at all. I could just wear the backpack, but I don't like having that on my back and shifting around, especially in the Texas heat. I took off a star just because the hooks come off the netting just a bit too easily. Not when under tension, but when I'm unstrapping the netting and storing in the saddlebag. I've come back after work or into the garage at home and noticed the hooks on the ground. Now that I've done it a number of times, I'll probably crimp the hooks a bit to keep them in place. It is nice for it to be adjustable where you put the hooks - I sometimes ride with my rugby bag which needs the hooks more on the corners. So, I think they should be removable, but just not fall off as I ball it up for storage.

These stretch very well and I love the fact that they have more hooks than just at the 4 corners. Very handy!!

Let it air out. Its nice quality! Just has a factory smell at first.

The hooks are far too small to attach to anything on my motorcycle. The hooks have a small diameter, and as such, are inadequate and flimsy. These may be OK for a car, but for an adventure touring motorcycle, you're asking for trouble. And I certainly have enough of that. Pass.

I can only assume that the few bad reviews were flukes as the product checks out for myself and most other reviews. It has little rubber tips on the hook. They are metal hooks so that is something to consider. I might do plastic for my motorcycle, but this is for shelves in my truck and I am pleased with it The price point I felt was fair. I could use these for lots of things. May get more down the road.

I installed this net to the ceiling of my camper shell for some extra storage. The carabiners that came with it are very nice unlike what much of the other reviews suggest. The ones I received are much sturdier than the ones pictured. The actual cords are quite thick and stretch uniformly.If you plan to use this as above head storage in your camper shell I suggest the 3'x4' for use in a standard 6-foot pickup truck. The net will be slightly stretched keeping it snug to the ceiling and will minimize the sag when it is loaded with stuff.I also plan to use this as a cargo net with my roof rack if I ever need to keep stuff up top as well. If it becomes a habit I will definitely be purchasing another one for that purpose, but in the meantime, I can switch it back and forth as needed.

High quality ,worth the price

Ordered 2 and received a third one free, which was nice. But i bought it for a bike trip and I quickly realized that the quality of the hooks is very bad, you can only use them a few times before they loose there plastic cover and start to bend making them unusable. The net itself is pretty small but strong and can be stretched but without the hooks they are useless. Don't waste your money...
