I do underground wet utilities. Sewer, water, storm drain. Soles wore out from grading sand and rock to lay pipe in about 3 weeks to the inside. By month 3 those boots were blown out. Save your money.

My wide feet, with high arches, are a little squeezed in the boots; but the boots are well made, and perhaps they will "break in" for me.The wedge sole, and the Wellington style, are exactly what I was shopping for. They came with a tag that specifies "only silicone based maintenance products" should be used on the leather. You can wear these on the boat, and they won't mar the decks.

These are nice shoes. They are like some Redwing Irish Setters I had before. When new, the top of my foot is a little high, so it is a little hard to pull them on, but I am sure that as they get broken in and stretch a little, they will be fine.

Good boots. Fit well. I added a cousioned insole due to long days at work on concrete all day. The sole is a bit stiff at first but broke in well. I never get more than a year from work boots but these are holding up nicely at about 6 months now.

Sized way too small. I do not know if it was just this pair of boots or not but I could barely get my toes started into them. I did not want to try to force the fit as I was afraid I would need to cut the boot off.

I ordered 10-1/2 wide. There is no way a mans foot can go in these boots. Would never recomend this to anyone. You have to know your boots run super small. Advertise it that way. People can then make adjustments.

2nd pair speaks for itself. I used to be a sears Die Hard junkie. No more.These are Way more comfortable. Soles wear in about a year, but thts all I expect.
