I purchased this to handle multiple needs for my UK trip including: using a straightener, plugging in my laptop, and plugging in multiple devices needing USB charge. It actually worked and did not do any popping or hissing as I have heard other adapters do. So, it feels safer and it's compact. Also, doesn't look cheap.

I have a ton of adapters acquired over the years, and this is by far my favorite. It is relatively lightweight, and the best part is that you can plug in 5 devices to only one outlet - something that is really handy if you end up in an older place where outlets are at a premium. I was able to charge both my phone and tablet with the USB ports and also plug in my C-PAP machine overnight. The different slide-out prongs worked great, and meant that I didn't have to stress when I got to the UK and remembered that theirs are different from the rest of Europe. I used it every day for 4 weeks, and have no problems to report.

Nice little device here. I like that it is a universal charging adapter so whenever I go to Europe or Australia I will be sure to bring this little dude with me. The only thing I did not like is sometimes it does not hold my macbook charger in. I would usually use something to keep it in place. However, I understand that macbook chargers are a little heavy so it isn't completely the chargers fault.Overall, I would def recommend this for anyone traveling. It tells you on there which one you should use so that is convenient and the USB charging ports are a great addition. The price is very nice as well. This is more like 4.5 stars if that helps anyone. Will recommend to others with plans to travel.

Purchased for a European trip. Indispensable item! Easy to use. Small size was GREAT. Multiple charging ports - wonderful. Plan to purchase several more as gifts for friends who will be traveling to Europe in the spring. Very pleased with product.

I found this product to be exceptional:- It was easy to use - select the location you are in, slide the power connectors forward, plug in and you're all set.- It was easy to travel with - the adapter itself is compact and comes with a protective case. It has 4 USB ports for charging multiple devices simultaneously.- It was affordable, yet priceless - the device was $20 and made all of my power needs a non-issue for the duration of my European vacation.

I travel a lot and normally have to keep up with numerous country specific adapters. This device has them all in one and its smaller than some of my others. The best thing about this one is that it has 4 USB slots and that saves me from carrying other adapters as well!

This adapter is compact and easy to use. I especially found the locking aspect useful, it kept the prongs extended until I pushed the button to withdraw them into the adapter. I had no problem using the adapter in US, UK, Israel, Jordan and Egypt. I was using the USB ports almost exculsively to charge my watch, phone, & iPad at the same time.

So I love this! Its super light and can charge a lot of things at once, because of all the space, however I just tried to use it in Australia and it was such a pain because where the prongs come out on this converter is just too low and since Australia has switches above every outlet the converter was sitting just too high and would hit the switch off, or fall out of the outlet so I couldn't even charge things. Might still work better for the US (and the other countries)() bc it sits in the outlet fine, but def not Australia unfortunately.
