If you like your products to look and perform as if they were made in someone's garage, then this is the product for you.The build of the Kitty Cot consists of hardware store PVC pipes that are seemingly hand cut to length. The pipes fit loosely, which causes the cot to almost never be perfectly flat. This makes mounting it on the window annoying since the cot tends to sag on one side usually. Also, the shims are laughable. As someone who works in a manufacturing sector, these shims are likely cut using a manual saw of sorts. The faces are not parallel, and they are not chamfered to increase the easiness of assembly (try fitting a closesly fitted OD into an ID without a chamfer), or to at least remove the sharp edges and burrs.The suction cups have good holding power, but they shrivel in direct sunlight. One of the four suction cups in our cot became inverted due to the heat. You have to make sure to reapply force and allow the suction cups to return to shape, which is annoying, but understanable.The most redeeming factor is the cats love it. When it works, it works. For the price I expected better build quality. This cot leaves room for wanting a better product.

This cot is designed simply and beautifully, all parts in order, easy assembly (takes a minute) and the service from Kitty Ccot is excellent. There are four suction cups -two go on the bottom to hold the piece to the window) and two go on the top where the metalic cords are at. The top ones can be placed directly over the product so you don't need more room horizontally; the bottom ones must be placed in a specific spot (where the product is) and they are big and round so you need extra window room. I was unable to use it on a 18.5" window because of the bottom two suction cups so I can't critique the suction cups, but they seem strong to me and cleaning the windows plus checking the cups regularly to make sure they're still strong seem like a good idea to me. Kitty Cot gave me excellent service (asked a couple questions and they offered a quick return). I just wish my window was larger.

I would have rated this 4+ stars, but one of the suction cups failed. I noticed after the first few weeks that one of the cups had warped, and wouldn't completely seal to the window. Yes, eventually, it came crashing down when they jumped on it. Well, I was appalled when I found out the replacement suction cups cost almost $19!! Are you kidding me? First off, they should be free. Any reputable company would replace something like that if it failed within the first year. But, $19??? For suction cups?? That's half the price of the whole cat shelf unit. I'm not pleased. If the seller doesn't contact me and offer a replacement, I'll just buy a brand new shelf from another company.

We have 2 kitties - one of them has no interest ( to be fair, she's not interested in much ;) ) and the other, Nubbers, loves it! Nubbers spends probably half of her day on it, even before I put up the window bird feeder for her. It's pretty sturdy but the suction cups do wear out eventually - our first set stopped sticking after 2 years which I think is pretty good. We got some of the replacement cups and it was all good! Definitely recommend this!!

So far so good! We live in an RV and needed a spot for our kitty to eat and keep his food away from our dog. (We also purchased a suction food bowl).It’s kind of ugly on its own (in my opinion), so I covered the seat with a small faux fur rug I had and it looks way better and our kitty loves how cozy it is.

So I originally bought one of these hammocks for my small apartment windows and my cats loved it! I ended up purchasing another one after an apartment fire took out the other one, and when it came is was obviously a returned one as the bag was full of cat hair and some dents on the frame but I was able to clean it off and it works fine.

My cat loves thing. I highly recommend. If I want to close my blinds I simply remove the perch from the bottom suctions only and set it in the window seal and close the blinds with no trouble. I highly recommend this product. It’s very sturdy. The only critique is that it’s not visually appealing. As an easy fix I made a no sew slip cover for it out of a decorative pillow case. Turns out it is perfect width of a pillow case. Fold the length of the pillow case inside itself to size, cut a small slit for the 2 wires and I used Velcro In the center to close the opening. It’s by far the best product I’ve purchased for my cat.

Cat seems to like it fine.. She was a little turned off at first but she uses it enough for me to keep it. Suctions do seem to be an easy remove which worries me bout it falling off but so far so good... Would be nice if the suction cups had a locking mechanism.
