Elite Chef Garlic Press Mincer & Peeler Is Best for Effortlessly Crushing Large Cloves by Elite Chef

Might be the worst garlic press i've ever used.I purchased this based on the multiple five star reviews, but after using this press to crush some garlic, i went back and re-read the reviews. Most of them appear to be "I received this press in exchange for a review" posts, which I now realize is code for "I get free stuff for five stars."A real review:The press is a cheaply designed press. There is a sleeve inside of the main body which makes removing garlic awkward. The handles flex when pressing garlic. A lot. They're plastic, so it's only a matter of time before they break.When processing the garlic, only about 1/4 to 1/3 of the garlic was actually extruded through the holes. The rest of the garlic was just mashed up around the edges of the little drop in, which made actually getting the garlic really difficult.This tool is more of a garlic masher than a press. Anticipate having to press the garlic multiple times to actually get everything.The garlic peeler was nice, and is the only thing i'll probably continue using here (not sure if i can return this, so i'm probably going to have to bite the bullet).Very frustrating that this item got so many high reviews in exchange for free stuff. This product is really bad, and not worth the $12 dollars it costs.

Very poor. Garlic was not crushed through the holes, but rather up and back over the mallet and the sides. The metal insert came out when the press wasn't being squeezed, and it seemed very shoddy overall. Because it came apart at the drop of a hat, it was easy enough to clean, but I would take better functionality over ease of cleaning.

Works pretty well but rusted the first wash.

Gift to granddaughter, who recently married. Good product. Looks nice. Works well. Fair price.

Great press! Peeler beats hand peeling any day!

This Garlic Press is so terrible that I ended up throwing it out. It's cheaply made and doesn't work and the "bowl" part of the press - the part where the garlic actually is pressed through the mincer falls out every time I try and use it. It doesn't even do a good job of mincing - most of the garlic just stays in the container part and doesn't come through the holes in the bottom.DO NOT BUY THIS. You'll find better garlic presses in the Dollar Store.

The Elite Chef Garlic Press is a nice addition to my kitchen utensils. I like the smell of garlic, but not on my fingers. With this garlic press, my family no longer has to endure the lingering smell of garlic on my hands and fingers. The stainless steel design and non-slip rubber handle make it easy to use. It is lightweight, strong, and the handle opens wide to allow the detachable chamber to be removed for easy cleaning. The squeezing chamber can hold more than one clove of garlic, and it doesn't allow oozing from the sides. The handle design allows for maximum leverage without hurting your hand. It comes with a bonus silicone garlic peeler that easily peels cloves when you roll it back and forth a few times. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review. With this product, mincing garlic is a breeze. I simply peel the glove with the silicone peeler, then place it in the press. I squeeze a few times and then open the press and remove the garlic. When I'm finished, I remove the chamber and place it in the utensil holder in my dishwasher, then open the press and place it on the top rack. Because of the removable chamber, it is easy to clean and the residue comes off completely. The Elite Chef Garlic Press has made cooking with garlic much simpler than before.

I received this and I am impressed. First off, it has a removable presser. So much easier to clean! With the stainless steel construction, its built to last and won't rust. I was also very [leased to see that it had a silicone garlic clove peeler included (YAY!) .. I have ✯ALWAYS✯ had a problem with the grip on garlic presses.. NOT this one! It fit my female hands wonderfully, and I am VERY impressed by that, because of the past problems I've had with garlic presses. Overall, this is an amazing set. I am thinking of buying this, along with the other Elite Chef products for a friend who is getting married in a few weeks.With all of the 'Pros' about this item, I can't find any 'cons' or 'flaws' with this product. ✯Please note that I received this product at a discount in exchange for my completely honest and ✯UNBIASED✯ personal opinionated review✯
