It fits!
Don't know what is different about my setup, but the mount didn't fit my SmartThings hub at all. Returning.Update 03/31/2020 - I'm a moron! I didn't think it fit because I was doing it wrong. I had tried to mount the SmartThings Hub across the square edges of the device, but, miraculously, if you turn it to mount on the diagonals it fits just fine. Don't be a moron!

Bracket Holds By Corners
Super easy to mount. The bracket holds the hub (version 3) by the corners, NOT the flat sides. If you try and use the bracket to hold by the flat sides it will be too big. Don't be the person who says it's too big because they tried to mount their hub by the flat sides, then write a scathing review as a testament to being unable to follow instructions.

Keeps your SmartThings out of the way
This is a simple product and pretty self explanatory. The mount fits the SmartThings hub perfectly and even included anchors and screws to mount to the wall. Not all mounting kits do so that was a plus. The build quality is solid and allows you to place your SmartThings hub in a variety of places for maximum reach, including walls or even a ceiling, I suppose. It does what it says it does and does it very well!

Modification required, a tad expensive, but works
A little high-priced for a plastic bracket but its a sensible mounting solution. The arms on this clip were 5 inches apart as delivered, which is the maximum width of the SmartThings hub, making it too loose to be secure. Bending the arms with a couple rubber bands and immersing in boiling water for 15 minutes reduced the span to 4-3/4 inches, a perfect fit to hold the hub securely. I would probably buy this again if I needed another hub or repeater, even knowing that I would have to fix the size. I found after mounting, I had to add a square of aluminum foil to the back so it could reflect the Ethernet port activity hidden on the other side of the hub from the status light, which indicates a poor hub design; but the mount is doing its job just fine now.

Great Mount
I want to note right away, this DOES work for the new Aeotec branded SmartThings hub! In the Q&A there's a lot of confusion but it does work! Having said that, this is a very sturdy mount and works perfectly for wall/ceiling mounting.

Serves it's purpose well!!
I purchased a SmartThings hub as my new connection source as I planned on purchasing a few items to start my smart home. The hub should be placed in the center of my home to be most effective in performance. That meant it was sitting at the one end of my kitchen counter, not a great location to keep it safe from nearby kitchen appliances heat or from falling off the counter. I wasn't sure exactly how to do that. Scrolling through searches on Amazon, I found this wall holder for my hub. This bracket is simple, but everything needed to secure my hub to the wall. It holds it safely on all four sides without showing much at all, very inconspicuous on the wall. In fact, that's exactly what I love most about it. It keeps the hub very safe as it is screwed to the wall, but hardly shows while keeping my hub really secure. Perfect for in any room of the house or with any decor. I definitely recommend this product!

Works for new Aeotec Smartthings (V3) hub.
I was a little hesitant to buy this since there were some reviews indicating it doesn't fit some Smartthings Hubs. For a moment after receiving it, I didn't think it fit mine (a new-ish Aeotec Smartthings V3 hub) either, but then I rotated the hub 45 degrees and it snapped right in securely. The key thing to note is that the bracket attaches at the corners of the hub, not the sides. Look at the front of the box for an example. It's a bit pricey for what amounts to a few cents of plastic, but it works and keeps my hub up on the wall. I only wish the hub had come with mounting holes so this wouldn't be necessary. All-in-all, it's worth it if you want a clean solution for getting your Smartthings hub up and out of the way.
